I was talking about mining. I'm not sure about validation. Sounds tricky, especially during your few first validations, but possible (you are solving your flips and other person is telling you answers for second node). But as I said. The best way is to run it on VPS (you can have 2 months free on digital ocean and 1 month free on vult). I was mining on 2 PCs for about 9 months when i switch to VPS - its way better and cheap.

Validating once per node and mine forever will affect that I, for instant, could have close to 40 nodes (new node each validation). You have to participate in every validation. That's the only way to maintain 1 person 1 node 1 vote.

To sum it up. To start mining you have to prof network that you are real human - not bot - by solving flip test. After successful validation your node can mine till next validation when you have to prof network, again, that you are still here in front of your one and only node.

that's cool dude, I also use my father's old laptop to follow Idena validation too and it can be used by my sister, so I invite my family to play IDENA and follow the validation every 15 days, you can find it easy now the invite code is pretty much since Human score is below average getting 1 invite code, currently there are lots of stock invite codes and it's easy to get when the event will start people will share the invite code on telegram, try going there now

Same things happened to me couple of times. To be honest it's kinda disturbing to be failed perform validation process just for few minutes. Several problem could happen like Node can't be synchronized.

Is this your first time? Maybe you can press the invitation code, and become proud member of Idena family. Nevertheless, good luck on your next attempt.

1. Introducing increased flip rewards

Motivation: Encouraging people to create AI-hard flips.

This change requires detection of AI-hard flips during the validation session. In order to qualify a flip as AI-hard, 1/3 of the committee votes are required. Once the flip is detected as AI-hard it will be granted x2, x4 or x8 times higher reward depending on the flip security score.

We plan to release the Idena app version that will automatically identify secure flips and calculate the security score. We’ll gradually extend the list of criteria for AI-hard flips with further Idena app updates.

When ?
Name the date when it will happen.
In this validation, we didn't receive additional rewards for good flips, although there were 13 days from the announcement, to the validation, September 28, to implement this update. Why didn't this happen? Why wasn't this implemented on the September 23rd hard fork?
Next validation in 9.5 days.

Agree 100%, i lost trust in many who received my invitation and failed also first validation. Can't really get why they want invite and then do nothing....

to be big sometimes we need a little bit longer, at least the community grows all the time and and does not care about the price, I am sure that before 2021 we will reach new ATHs if they launch oracles before the end of the year and others, be a little patient with the development and some of the problems therein , everything will be fine once it's ready

Vitex is a pretty good DEX exchange even tho they have low volume in comparison with other centralized exchanges, don't forget they have 2x the volume of Binance DEX. And btw, VITE their token is listed on Binance and this says a lot.
