I've read people asking and posting how to protect their wallet but apart from educating yourself on how to protect your wallet, private keys and passwords, It's also very important that you protect yourself from exposing your portfolio you don't go around telling friends and random people, coins that you are keeping.
And also It's important to have other businesses or jobs and not rely on all your needs to Cryptocurrency, people will notice this and they will think you are making a fortune from Cryptocurrency and they might target you.

So are you protecting yourself and how do you protect yourself and your family?

Actually, my private keys, passwords and even passphrase are somehow in a safe place I think. And regarding with the people who knows what I am doings is just my family and my friends. Those friends of mine are also part of the community, in fact they are the one who encourage me to enter this field so I have nothing to hide from them. It better indeed to have other source of income because first of all you can't rely on crypto all the time. I think much better if you will not publicize your attachment from crypto just to be safe.

 That's if we use wallet to save our token/coin. But it would be different if we use centralized exchange, changing password is still possible. But CEX is more risky, so use password as good as you can

actually giving people passwords, private keys, and other important things on the internet is what makes a lot of people exposed to theft.  besides that many phishing sites that need attention to avoid theft and fraud.  however, don't give more trust to people on the internet, and store your private keys in a safe place.  that's the way I use to protect my assets.

This is something that I learned long time ago, it is easy to think that everyone out there is honest and that you can share whatever information you want with them but that is not really accurate, if you tell people that you are holding some cryptocurrencies if they know anything about this market they may think that you have a lot more money than what you are really holding and that can be a very dangerous position in which to find yourself in, this is especially true in my country in which criminals can get away with anything.

In order to project your coins/assets you must double your precautionary measures specially using your informations like email, passwords and other important information that may link to your assets privacy. Make sure to note down, make back ups of important privatekeys, passwords, etc and put it where no one will be be able to find it except from you.

hey friend, this is a crypto asset. from the wallet that you use to store assets, anyone can see. to secure your assets you must double security. I don't like to keep my money in exchange except for assets that I use to trade every day. for investment assets I use a personal wallet that I can only access.
