Hi guys!

I'm sorry for posting in English but I don't speak Turkish and that is why my task is twice as hard.

At this point I want to study Turkish crypto-community: active sites, telegram groups, other social networks, may be bloggers that are covering this topic. Plus, Turkish exchanges. May be there is data on daily / weekly / monthly trading volumes?
As you see, I’ve got lots of questions and it’s pretty hard to find answers without knowledge of Turkish language

I was wondering if Turkish bitcointalk community can help me out with that.

Why am I doing this study? Well, there is a pretty strong project (I won't mention its name for one not to think that I'm promoting it being a newbie on the forum) and I would like to show its developers that Turkish market is a blast and their project can storm right in it and everybody will be happy

So, what do you say, will you help me out?

Thanks in advance and have a great day!

P.S. I have gathered some links already but ain't sure I can post them here – don’t want to be banned from the start of my work here.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I think you can write it down all your questions and people can select couple of them and answer it. Otherwise its a huge amount of work needs to done by one or couple people.

Thank you for your answer. You're absolutely right!

I'd start with links to telegram-groups - I think that each member of the community reads a couple Smiley

Will that make the task easier?

It is practically impossible to list all the Telegram groups and I don't really use Telegram myself but I'll help you out with the exchanges, I will omit the ones with abysmal volume so the list is incomplete.

The biggest exchange volume-wise is Paribu.

Their average Bitcoin volume is about 600-900 BTC per day. It is one of the oldest and trustable exchanges.

The second in this competition is BTCTurk.

They are the oldest and the first legitimate Turkish exchange. Although it had its ups and downs in the beginning with the exchange closing down temporarily for a while, it is still going strong today with about 500-ish BTC volume per day.

There are also Koineks and Koinim a popular but (unfortunately) slowly dying exchanges as their volume dropped down below 60 and 20 BTC respectively.

Wow, thanks, that's very useful.

I'm not really asking to list ALL Telegram groups as it might be pretty hard but may be the most active and crowded? Or, may be, Telegram is not the main info-source on crypto in Turkey? What should it be then - Twitter, Facebook, websites?

For Telegram nearly all coins has seperate channels, what im talking about probably over 500 telegram channels. Its impossible to write it down. Also there is groups like binance turkey. As i know one of the most crowded crypto telegram channel is turkish. So for this questions you can write it down as telegram groups are pretty popular at Turkey.
Btw BTCTurk is sponsored for one of the turkish premier league team( even team name is btcturk you can check from https://twitter.com/YMSkulubu?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor here)

Bence konuya bodozlama girmektense önce projesi hakknda bilgi vermesi gerekir.

For OP my suggestion is to share proje details before research. Because its a fact that Turkey is very interested in crypto.

Thank you for the info that BTCTurk sponsors a football team - will add this to my analysis.

Speaking of telegram, I've found this page with a number of groups which seem to be 'all coins' groups - https://btcmagazin.com/kripto-para-turk-telegram-gruplari-listesi/

I'm still in progress of checking them all out to see the stats and member activity.

I've sent you the name of the project in a private message as I don't want to make any advertisement at this point - you're absolutely right, that there are no translations of the main site and validators in Turkish. Plus, I'm not sure that the rules of the board allow me to post links to projects being a newbie.

Michael there is nothing wrong with disclosing the name of your project here unless it's a scam.

So please feel free to share why you are conducting this research, and for which project in particular, don't worry about being a newbie, it's totally fine to talk about your business.

It becomes more suspicious when you ask for information without revealing your purpose...

Well, it's pretty easy - I will present the results of my research to the development team and they will decide if Turkish market is OK for them or not. If it is (and this is why I want to perform good results with the research) interesting for them they understand channels of communications, entering points, then airdrops, contests and the like will happen.

It's a cool PoS project and I would really like to see Turkish audience use it - transactions within the network are less than 5 secs, base coin could be bought/sold with BTC and ETH. There are some cool projects already running.

My interest? Well, I have a pretty big stake in the network and the growth of the price of the base coin will be good for me personally. Simple as that Smiley

P.S. Full info in the next message.

Ok, no problem.

The project is called Minter (https://www.minter.network/), it's a pretty massive PoS project in Russia. I've offered its founder to make a study of the Turkish market as I've seen it on the news that crypto is pretty popular in your country.

Why I was not uncovering the name earlier? There is a Russian saying - 'don't run before the train'. My idea, as stated earlier, is to make an in-depth research, collect correct data on social media and other activities in Turkey and present it to the developers. This might (my whole point, really) result in a full-scale promo campaign, new users in the network, new projects and services. And growth of the base coin price.

Is it a scam? Well, I really hope it is not - I've got a pretty big stake there, doing this research in my own time and it'd be a petty if it is %)

But looking what different developers are doing, the involvement of validators (each spend around 5K Euro a month to keep a secure and strong infrastructure; there are 32 validators at this point if my memory serves me right) in the whole process, Minter doesn't look like scam. E.g. today there was an announcement of a MMO game using the power of the network.

I can tell you more about Minter but promoting the project here was never my intention.

So, that said, can you help me out? It's VERY hard to collect data in the language you have no clue in Smiley

P.S. Found https://kriptorank.com/ today - trying to understand what's good there and should be added to my research and what's not. Very hard %)

Your starting point is wrong. You can't find any serious investor from stupid telegram groups. Real investors don't participate such channels to find a good gem. If your project is good investors would find it any way.

And there is no intention of finding investor in the telegram groups - the point is to tell the mass audience about the project, available services and products within the network.

Of course local representative would be hired but it's the next step. At first - plan of actions approved by developers, budget allocation, hiring Turkish community/PR manager, ads and airdrops.

But to reach Step 2, I need to prepare the analysis - spent a whole day yesterday gathering active crypto-site in Turkish. Made some progress.

And it's a pity that feedback and support of Turkish Bitcointalk crypto-community is so little. May be I'm doing something wrong, I don't know Sad
