in my opinion altcoin prices are not disappointing because they are cheap and people can afford to buy a good amount with every salary and accumulate
before the prices start to go up again (hopefully)

i would generally prefer it if the topic money - price - chart was not so present all the time.

Do you think that we are on that number? I dont think so. Actually we can point out on what portion are we now because if we do base up on current price we arent heading on possible rise up.

As said theres no assurance and guaranteed that we are heading for the next rise up.Its unpredictable neither it can happen tomorrow or on next year to come.Price can really disappoint you if you do hold

That's what I am seeing why altcoins are not rising and continue to struggle, they are all basing on the performance of btc, if bitcoin is bullish then maybe they'll slowing touching altcoins but its not happening, yes BTC rise 30% as a huge pump but where are we now, we are back to a low price, if btc continue to stay and $10k an rise this month then we might be seeing altcoins following the rise, so no other option but just to be patient and wait.

1) you can buy a lot for cheap or dollar cost average, so when its back to the price you invested first, you already earned..
2) its easier to pump and make x10 - and thats what we should do.. make x10 and sell  then wait for a new investment opportunity

Being part here is just try our luck in which we can't predict those coins that we have as we just hoping on its value in which will also relying the different demands of each coins. But the problem is, altcoins keep dip and dipper. it is not good idea if we buy in this time
even if you buy with DCA, it may reduce the risk. But there is still the risk if the price keep dipping

I prefer to wait obvious bull sign and start buying. IDC wheter get higher price, but i can get fast profit from that
I dont have to see any coins dump like this time.

You still see positive? This forum, this place used to be very lively back in 2016 to 2017, especially fourth quarter 2017. Bitcointalk user participation has gone down so bad that it is even worse than the bear markets of 2015. Trust me I was there. Back then, the last people on the forum are GPU miners searching for the next scrypt coin to mine. Now, nothing except signature campaigners.

The right thing to do because there is no way we can cut loss at a reasonable price now, we hit the bottom already and it's not wise to sell at the bottom, we should have done that a year before.

The market is disappointing but it is how it is, this isn't the first time that we see this kind of market struggle, even in the past it happened and we know what the successful did that time, they hold and put more patience in investing.
