Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k?

Bitcoin will be able to go higher this time over 20k after the 2020 halving and i do hope that altcoins won't hesitate to follow the uptrend as well, when btc reached its ATH stability will happen then hopeful altcoin will start shooting for the sky

The best thing about this last bull run is that it's exposed to newcomers how truly awful some bitcoin maximalists are. It's this mindset which will make people end up losing their BTC gains once the altcoin season starts and people FOMO their BTC at all manner of projects when they see people earning 50x-100x in a matter of weeks without having to even much unlike with BTC where you have to spend significant money to make major gains.

Crypto is so volatile, and I don't believe ones saying there won't be an alt season. Bull season affects both Bitcoin and altcoins. there will be definitely be an altcoin season at some point with many people investing in high potential projects on exchanges like Binance and kucoin, due to the potential of higher ROI. Personally I am expecting a good altcoins season in 2021 near the end of the Bitcoin bull cycle.

That's way too far to expect mate, it takes a long wait just to see the altcoins season begun to shine. Good thing for those who can wait longer, but a sad feeling to those who can't. However, year 2021 is somewhat a maturity stage for altcoins since 2019 short term expectancy was a failure to many holders. As the year 2020 nearly approaching, I do hope that the start of the year will be more prosperous for cryptocurrency.

To reach 20K is still very difficult for bitcoin, but it can definitely achieve it if the bitcoin trend continues to rise and there is a lot of positive news. In bitcoin Halving in May 2020 will also be an opportunity for bitcoin to reach the highest price, because many investors will buy bitcoin. For the altcoin season, it will occur when bitcoin dominance goes down and altcoin goes up.

Everyone are forgetting the factors that led to the altcoin boom of 2017. The Bitcoin bull run was only a minor factor during that boom. The main trigger was the ICO craze, and it took Ethreum to a massive spike of 100x (when compared to 20x spike that BTC got). Most of the tokens were created using the ERC-20 platform, and this took Ethereum to new heights. And along with Ethereum, the other altcoins such as Litecoin, Monero, Dogecoin and Cardano also moved up. Also back then, a lot of the noobs sold their alts and shifted to altcoins blinded by their greed. Most of these users have exited the cryptocurrency sector now.

maybe there is a connection but waiting for bitcoin to reach 20K is very long. and there is no guarantee until then altcoin can survive. the only thing that can accelerate the altcoin season is adoption, hoping bitcoin isn't the best way. You can see a while ago, when bitcoin was pumped altcoin didn't move. and maybe when bitcoin reaches 20K this will be repeated.

For me it is definitely yes, as you can some altcoin are paired with bitcoin so once the price of bitcoin become high, the price of altcoin will also become high. But sometime we might see an altcoin season without any pump of bitcoin. The altcoin season is already happen few weeks or months ago so I think the next altcoin season might happen in the next bull run.

Very possible to happen, but unlike the first altcoin season maybe.After the first ATH and bullrun, so much happens and so much realization to think about and  to consider. Because of so much scam and fraud projects,this time  investors become extra careful in their investment, and those with solid  foundation can can still excel.

investors now understand at that moment was just hype in altcoin market.they manipulated with bitcoin and altcoin price.they become more rational now and never thinking investment will give them alot of profits like 2017 happen.personally i am prefer to trade safety , never hope again to earn profit thousand percents from altcoin or i could trapped in loss while holding altcoin too long.

It depends on the hype in the mainstream press. In 2017 what happened was as bitcoin got more and more expensive, newbies to the crypto scene thought, "Why not buy an alt instead, they're cheaper and they too might make a new high".

That sentiment was what lifted alts in 2017. Whether they are more savvy this time round remains to be seen.

Let's hope that this will happen, because constantly when bitcoin grew in price, at the same moment altcoins began to grow, but now we see everything has changed, now only bitcoin is growing, and altcoins are only falling, so it’s very difficult to say what will happen with altcoins before bitcoin halving, but of course we will see some growth of altcoins.

I think it is possible , but not 100%. becuse altcoin mostly depend on bitcoin pries market value.but we can try our best earning in populer altcoin investing.

Yes it is possible that the season of altcoin will also come  when the bitcoin reaches above $20,000 because as we can see in the year 2017 when bitcoin hits $20,000 the altcoins also rise and gets wild. Maybe we can see this when the year 2020 comes and the halving of crypto comes, but as I was said, there is a huge probability that the altcoins will go crazy and arise when bitcoin pumps up over $20,000. But this is just a speculation and prediction at all.

Well it is Possible that Altcoins could go crazy if bitcoin gets to $20k,in this space the unexpected happens a lot but I think old investors would go more for Bitcoin and perhaps some top altcoin like Ethereum, xrp and so on. Talking about the correlation it could be drawn that this past week that bitcoin rose,many altcoin also showed some upward trend, so it's possible the $20k for Bitcoin could also bring about the Alt Season.

In my opinion altcoin should tend to follow the price of bitcoin, for example at the moment bitcoin is experiencing bullish and altcoin is also experiencing it, but in my opinion the potential to experience a surge in the top 10 in cmc after bitcoin.

In my opinion altcoin should tend to follow the price of bitcoin, for example at the moment bitcoin is experiencing bullish and altcoin is also experiencing it, but in my opinion the potential to experience a surge in the top 10 in cmc after bitcoin.

So far, bitcoin were still far away from reaching that again, but it is possible to happen or maybe go higher and reach another ath by the next following months. No one expected for bitcoin to reached 20k$ before and for altcoins to get along with it.
Bullish market will come in the right time, we can't determine when it will happen, but in the right time for sure.

I think that might happen again, I mean altcoin will increase significantly again if bitcoin can penetrate prices above $ 20k. we all hope that will happen soon, considering that 2018-2019 altcoin has lost its value again, maybe 2020-2021 we will see the glory of altcoin again.

I think its YES! if that happen i'm pretty sure altcoins will breakout most of the time altcoins were followed the trend if the Bitcoin gains was solid, If Bitcoin will break its previous ATH that will be another milestone not just for Bitcoin but in the entire cryptocurrency industry.

Judging by historic price action,  it is very likely that prices to start rallying incredibly once the previous all time high(ATH) is breached.  Since there isn't anything above that price,  FOMO will definitely kick in and greed will set people well on the way to invest even as prices rise. It has happen before and it will again- History always repeats itself.

That is possible and if bitcoin reaches $ 20,000 it will most likely affect Altcoin even crazier because many are waiting for the Altcoin season to come and over the past two years Altcoin is not very good on the market, and now an increase in bitcoin brings Altcoin up and hopefully Bitcoin and Altcoin will rise together towards the highest price in the near future.

I do not know, because BTC jumped from 7k to 10k within several hours and all what altcoins did was adding several percent to their prices. BTC has a too high dominance at the moment and I hardly doubt that the future raise of BTC means the raise of alts at the same time.
