That means the time for the real adoption of bitcoin will come. Im just waiting for this will give impact to the altcoin too (i don't expect a big impact)
It looks like bitcoin will be the only crypto that will be accepted to be integrated with the mainstream stores like starbuck.

Im so happy to see that. but my question is will another crypto get the same chance as bitcoin to be traded on BAKKT? this is very interesting to see that.  It looks like the title should be replaced with bitcoin as bitcoin is the only coin that already traded on BAKKT.

And that description about Novogratz being a very rich guy, I don't think that's necessary.

Yes, I heard that as well.  It wasn't clear to me what Starbucks is actually going to be doing with bitcoin, but I recall reading that they were going to offer a service by which customers could convert crypto to cash...or something like that, and that Starbucks would be utilizing Bakkt for its own purposes (probably to buy bitcoin I would think).

This is all good news in any case.  I love starbucks and they've always tried to be on the cutting edge of technology, thanks in part to Howard Schultz.  It sure would be nice to be able to buy a coffee using bitcoin, and they also have an online store with a lot of good items.  If they accepted crypto there it would be very convenient and might be a good test of how willing their customers are to spend it.

I think that news about Starbucks accepting bitcoin has been around the crypto since last year?

At least since last year, but since Bakkt launched I think they'll be moving forward more quickly.  I hope anyway.

Starbucks is just adding bitcoin as a payment method! They are not launching any crypto related product! Even though they are a global brand, but they have separate entities set up for different countries. For example, they are registered as Tata Starbucks Pvt. Ltd. In India. In Japan, they are registered as Starbucks Coffee Japan Ltd. Similarly they have separate entities for each region!

So they may be testing the bitcoin oayment feature in US at this moment. But later if the legal scenario changes for better in other countries, they wouldn't mind rolling out the changes everywhere!

This will create visibility for sure as in free advertisements for example. Think of how much money is this worth in advertisement space when Starbucks mentioning this on their ads while selling coffee.

Basically the outcome of the testing is quite predictable. We, the users already tested it, the user experience is already good, what they are just doing is to try and test the implementation of it to their business. Such as the technicalities, customer satisfaction and such. In this case, we can already say that in terms of technicality, it is already passed as technology will provide all the necessary functions to it, they just need to convince customer and provide great customer satisfaction as well to make it happen.

I expect 3-5 years crypto currency will be use in any country that you can use it to buy even in the market . I heard there is a city that already use digital money but not crypto currency. maybe in the next more years it will change to crypto sincw it is faster and have thier own transaction id for confirmation.

That's a good start to bitcoin/cryptocurrency adoption to various use cases, and in this case, as a mode of payment in everyday, common neccessity services such as food. This also jump starts the main idea of Satoshi coming to life, to use Bitcoin as an alternative mode of payment to current existing fiat. Soon enough, we'll start seeing it being adopted by other enterprises, but I don't believe too much on altcoins though.

In my opinion coffee shops are the best place to integrate cryptocurrency in the daily population use. Really looking forward to seeing the Bakkt consumer app in action. Hopefully it will be available worldwide not just in the United States.

These type of rich people commenting on the situation of bitcoin is actually great, it creates some sort of wave affect around the rich people and that is what matters. We can talk about bitcoin all we want but people with 100+ millions won't listen to us, at least not all of them but in the end if one of them talks about it they could get some attention.

This dude is investor for many many successful projects (many failed too of course) so these companies all could look into crypto with one call from him, that is why people like him supporting crypto is very valuable to all of us. We should spread this information as much as we can and get in the hands of other rich people so they would start listening to us because now one of their people is among us.
