I got a single usb miner and installed the vcp software with the green tick for smt electronics but when i plug the usb cable in im getting unrecognised device. How do i fix this?

What I can tell that manafacturer of gridseed they claiming 20% of gridseed come out of factory with faulty and they not gonna replace , buying them is like a lottery

You would think a manufacturer would test them before they go out the door, i used my savings to buy this

Maybe it might work with a controller, rather than trying windows drivers

Best is to use modified cpu miner windows communicate with the device via COM port so it dont matter your device is not recognized as long as COM recognized.

I was doing everything correctly, i tried changing the usb cable and it worked perfectly straight away.
