I would vouch for bitcoin and top altcoin as well because it's a huge risk to go for ICO/IEOs wherein most of the projects either fails or paused or gets launched at small exchange without any volume and gets sold at almost zero. It's not an appropriate time to experiment with fund by investing into ICOs or IEOs.

I agree that this is not the best time for ICO and IEO, but in my opinion the future belongs to STO and when capital returns to the cryptocurrency market and investors regain confidence, it will definitely be one of the fastest growing investment options.

I am only following a few because most of the projects have extended their campaign period which make it hard to participate to multiple projects. I am eyeint onto some projects due to their popularity but investing to those projects is not my priority at this moment because of the current market situation. Maybe waiting for a little longer would be a better idea than to rush out of the assumptions of the majority. Being patient qould make us safe from regrets in the first place.

I do not fully agree with you, because the even with the existence of Ieo can minimize fraud that occurs, but Ieo does not guarantee we will get a profit in the investments, we make, even though Ieo in the market is as large as the binance.
The last few months, I have noticed that Ieo in some markets is not It is different with ico, where when Ieo has finished, several token ieo projects continue to experience price drops quite drastic so investors / traders continue to suffer losses because the price of tokens has been far below the Ieo price.
so, I think Ieo does not guarantee we can get a profit.

You might be right, but at least IEO gives us guaranteed access to the market, while ICO does not guarantee that.

And before you sell maybe it still has the potential to make a profit, it's just about patience.

Exchanges had a great factor in terms of IEO, but some exchanges faking the numbers for the sake of sale, that is the main hindrance for the sale of IEO on those unknown exchange. Imagine the sale hit the target but in reality the token sale was unsuccesful.

for now it is better invest in IEO projects than ICO. check binance and bittrex they are conducting IEO on thier exchange.

It is very hard to earn money on crypto market at the moment and I believe this down trend would last for a year or two. No altcoin is raising whatever happens, so invest in BTC, but do not sell it until 2023.

Ah, what i means is for some people. Because yeah we know some people maybe can get profit from IEO and ICO, but not all people can do it. Like you mentioned that it is in some market which I believe that there is no coin that has ever been listed on binance IEo that has never gotten increase immediately, and in fact, some records as high as 400x profit after their investment in the IEO, so for binance IEO, it is typically different from ICO that we know.

I agree with you that most of the IEO from other companies is as useless as ICO as all I see is just manipulation in the price after which they experience very massive dump which I have seen lots of people really complain about it, but for binance, this is a very sure project that has never failed someone's, and if you hear that they are releasing their IEO, just know that the investor should be expecting immediate profit in their investment.

Good for you. From my perspective, i am not following any coin at the moment besides bitcoin movement in the market. The last IEO i participated was Harmony. I won a lottery ticket and cashed out at x7. Since then, i have lost all or most of the money holding bnb whike trying to get into elrond and finally Perlin. So i am currently on a break to re-evaluate my stance. If you find a good IEO like One, then it will be a worthwhile investment for you

It's not clear whether Op has already sold his car or not but it will be actually true if OP is not active again to give feedback to the existing post from another user. So many sites have made comparison which is the profitable funding investment right now between IEO and ICO. that must be clear about that.

If follow means make investment maybe 2 local ICO, Futurax and Waletoken. And both already be dead coins. I think some developers need to make research or we as investor must know what actually that developers aim. Both of project that i joined, revealed that actually have 1 developers, only use other people to act as CEO. I think real identity not guarantee the project is legit because we don't know who behind the project.

IEOs are way more secured than ICO. ICOs today are just Moneygrab scheme. I don't waste my time on ICOs because they just can't afford to land it to decent Exchange. iEOs can be easily a successful crowdfunding because tokens are easily sold out. But not all IEOs are successful tho. It's because the Exchange they conducted IEO was not a huge Exchange at all. So always buy on reputable Exchanges like Binance or Kucoin.

Are you sure? then what about the case of the IEO token that was registered in the exchange after IEO was finished and their developer disappeared? if it is felt to be safer, I think there will be many successful projects this year with their IEO sales. but in reality, you can see that not many are successful with IEO. some projects are successful, but not in large numbers.

I do not follow much IEO or ICO. even now I don't do both and focus more on trading in the market. not only because of the many scams but not many new coins that can survive in the market now. even some there is no development after 1 year of the project running. indeed not all projects are like that, but you can see most existing projects like that.

It depends on what exchanges that held IEO itself, if the IEO held in big exchanges like okeX, huobi, binance i'm sure they will be very sucessful because of the demands of those IEO tokens are high and the price must be hihger after it officially listed on the exchanges. But some exchanges are held IEO with bad projects and also some of them are paid projects that can be list on their exchange. So, even an IEO will be listed on an exchange after it held, we still have to be do more research about the project before we investing

But what do you mean by successful? Many think of a successful ieo as one that gave profits but that is not a successful coin in my mind, many of the coins that were released in good exchanges go through a pump and dump and then go down again and never recover and no one ever hears of them again, we must recognize the truth, the days where any new coin could get a lot of funding and then get a huge support coming from the community seem to be over.

You can return your money if the IEO project you choose shows a positive trend, but if it is negative you must be prepared to lose your money and even everything.
But if you already want to invest, I think you should diversify some IEO projects to reduce your risk of loss.
