Mine was from Anime called One Piece, the PX (Pacifist), it should be an N number after the "PX-" since there are many of them. Then a movie was released, and a new "PX" was made, which was the Film Z movie, and that's where the "PX-Z" comes from or the "Shiro Kuma." I guess who knows the anime will know this username tooo, I'm just a fan of the anime

Mine was gotten from a friend of mine, back then in school we used to call her Lizzy meanwhile her real name is Elizabeth, we used Lizzy as the short form. One day the dress she wore was too beautiful on her, the next thing that came out from my mouth was Sexylizzy, since that day we forget her real name and started call her Lizzy, just to remember her because we was so close I decided to use the name as my username when I was registering on the Forum.

The idea is a very good one because it will going to help you to remember her whenever you look at your username. However, my own username was the name that my dad normally called me when I was very small. He used to call me City then, so when I was trying to register in Bitcointalk forum I was a little bit confused about the name I would used, so on the process I now remember the name that my dad do call so I decided to add hunter34 to make it more lengthy.

I almost thought your dad called you the username you're using now, the hunter got me scared for a minute like habe you hunted a whole City on your own before 😁? Well the name City is really a unique one because no one is using or answering that name and no matter what you can never forget that name CITY till you get old because it came from your father and I also believe you'd be very proud of answering that name.

This is not only a funny question but also a strange question. Everyone's story of choosing a name is different but I don't know how many will share their true story here. This is a decentralized forum where everyone prefers to keep everyone anonymous so everyone uses pseudonyms.
My username is a short form of something special, which is very dear to me at least.

It is actually a shorthand for the full name through which I can stay connected to the decentralized forum and identify ourselves. I think most people do that or they can use the name of a favorite pet or a favorite place. To be honest, I decided to use my real name when I registered my account but my friend suggested it. My username ID has a lot of similarities to my real name.

Let's have the fun together ok, let me share how I choose my username here on the forum.
 Well the username that I am using here is not a new name to me,it was my secondary school time that I choose this name as my guy name,why because I always like where there's peace and always make peace too in everything that I do, I am not a violent person,so one day,we decided to organize a club or meeting as our age group, so inside the club one of the rules guiding us is that everyone of us must have a guy name, which we will know him with,and that guy name you shall be called on each time we go for acting . So everyone begins to choose a guy name and that is how I choose my guy name, which servers as my username here today and I so much like the name,so today in my place some people due call me by my real name and some call me by my username here.. and I decided to use the name here because Bitcoin is a peaceful place to be, it's not a violent forum, bitcoin also gives peace of mind to everyone of us who are into it..

I chose my username name inline with what I engage myself with in real life. I thought about it to be a good one for me to launch into the platform with it. I already am more of a safety and security person and I thought of it to add to the word Crypto but I had to analyse the username to sound unique while pronouncing it.  After much thought of it, I launched in with the username CryptSafe which signifies Crypto and Safety put together and so far I have been an advocate of crypto safety on this platform and outside this platform.

When I saw this forum, I simply generated a nickname by adding a few letters, completely unprepared that I'd found a place I'd never want to leave, even for a single day.

I guess that maintenance outage on the other forum wasn't a coincidence for me, because I was very lucky to find Bitcointalk.

Today I accidentally discovered that the total time spent on the forum is 399 days, 23 hours, and 59 minutes, and while I was writing this post, the time had already exceeded 400 days

My username is loosely based on a figure from an early children book by Tomi Ungerer which I likely had to read many many times for my children when they were young. They didn't get tired to get the same book read over and over again. Wasn't my choice to read a book multiple times, they asked me for it.

The book is about a lovely Boa Constrictor which an elderly teacher, Madame Bodot, got from her son. The large and intelligent snake called "Crictor" saves the day against some evil burglar in the story.

I like Tomi Ungerer as book author and illustrator and somehow this particular book and the Boa's name, slightly modified, stuck with me. I enjoy usernames with a little bit of backstory, even when it's a bit banal.

So all together combined I thought of this username and used it in other places. Later when I registered here, I just copied it. It doesn't have any significant importance.

That's literally why I said "as far as I remember". Btw, if I was making things up, I woundn't have mentioned the same things twice  "korean fantacy drama" . It's been almost 3 years already since my first post.

Many nicknames are from third party, from friends, parents friends and Churches etc. And you can also decide to use a name apart from your real name. Since the forum is an anonymous and likes users privacy, I decided to formulate this username for myself.

I composed the name croypthunterkill, how I come about the name croptohunterkill it was my friends that was mining Bitcoin in  2015, so I always listening to them  saying cryipto I am hunter I kill it, so when they ask me to join in mining with them,   then the intuduce me to this  forum  an asked me the name I want to use,  I told them am croptohunterkill, that how i come about the name croyptohuntrekill.

Well, it was not easy on me at all during this process of registration, I came up with so many names but unfortunately all the names I came up with was taken, immediately it occurred to me that this platform or forum is too wide, I began to contemplate how do I really understand things about this forum.

Honestly, mine was a combination of two words - Init and Script.

At the time, and still to this day, I would start minor coding / development projects. So it felt fitting at the time.

Absolutely cannot believe this was more than 10 years ago.

Now I'll explain how I chose my nickname here on Bitcointalk, which I use only and exclusively here.
I've always liked nicknames with a maximum of three letters, but it's difficult to find such a short nickname, and most of the time I find that they're all taken.
So I lengthened it with special characters that frame it.
*ace* is inspired by several things
1- Portgas D. Ace, a character from One Piece that I really like
2- My favourite fruit juice xD
3- The ace of hearts, which is the strongest card in a poker deck.
4- My brother always played Ace Combat, and that name stuck in my mind! To be honest, I didn't like the game, and I was also young, so I didn't care much about it.
