It seems like I just saw again that there are names appearing on the leaderboard.  During my last visit there I did not see anything.  Anyways, I do not know any of the names that are visible.  Who know, they use different usernames here in the forum and there in Roobet.  It is not far off unless he wants to reveal that he/she is one of those on the list.

As I myself don't want to get expose and change my name on certain casino so that there will be no disturbance since some other users bothering by sending some unnecessary message which can destroy our gameplay. I wouldn't like it if my personal data were public but a nickname would be less bad. there are also players who put a first and last name together in a nickname, then you still have a problem if they publish that together but on the other hand players should also consider when choosing a nickname I would not recommend a combination of first and last name

It's a user name or most likely a nickname I don't think putting your first and last name on user name is really good idea I think using a fake name or identity is much better.
To have some anonymity and privacy even in the casinos on where you play at I don't think even if they ask for KYC it's still better not to use real names.

Though they had KYC you can always choose to have uniqur username without your original name. I don't think it's very big mess to discuss on though. ^^Gamblers are usually people who would complain a lot, I do not know what is about the sector that makes it a reality, maybe it has been like that for a long time so now it is like an industry standard that all gamblers (well most) complain constantly about anything, from something unreal and a lie like "this website purposefully made me lose" which is no longer is true because we have provably fair so it can be proved that you lost fair and square, to stuff like "my money haven't arrived for the past 12 hours so they are scammers" without waiting for the blockchain to confirm.

It actually is a bad idea. One of the winners, wagered $1.87M to get that 187k tickets and getting $1k prize after those huge wager isnt really satisfying after all. If I am the player that wager $1.87M, I'd rather compete with the others for 5 chances to get $5k prize rather than 25 chances to get $1k prize. Im pretty sure the player that wagered $1.87M probably could have gotten more than $1k from the rooward / vip rakeback.

The idea would satisfy alot of small players but it wont be satisfying for all those huge players and Roobet has tons of those huge players

In fact I think I prefer a single prize of $ 25,000 or five of $ 25,000.  

The fact of having the wagered at $ 10 for a ticket is the equitable distribution point. Or maybe the equivalent of 25 prizes, because you wonder where you have the best chance to win in 25 prizes or in the possibility of winning multiple tickets to go for a prize.

Indeed, there are many whales playing on Roobet, it's just normal to see those numbers of wagers that they'd wager either to participate on a site-wide contest or just to wager all of those money because he just wants it, for fun, and surely to make profits. And you don't know exactly what games that was on and what the odds were that he would win. with Roulette red or black it is easy then it is just red or black. Then it's 50% lace per bet. I didn't see any names that are from bitcointalk that I know of, but they could be using a different id there.

There are tons of people who use their first and last name as username in plenty of places. I for one run a channel on telegram for example and there are plenty of users who have their names all real names instead of using a nick like everyone else. The more shocking part of that is there are people who even share their phone numbers as well, so there are these people who give out their names and phone numbers on a telegram channel without a worry, they are not declaring it but if anyone wants to check they could definitely do it by just clicking on the users profile.

So even though it is not common, and even though you may not know if it is real or not, I am sure there are plenty of people who share these type of information without really caring about what could happen later.
