Satoshi was very clever in not leaving a trace on everything he did. From anonymously registering for sites and domains and using text only conversation with other bitcoin developers. But if the government really started an investigations, it may track down a past of him using the internet which could lead us to satoshi. There are no restriction to access to data to the government and they can track down through many routes like IPs and Macs. They might even already know who satoshi is but has refrained from making it public.

Do you have anything solid to back this claim up? I don't think the governments know the real one. If they do, they should already have done something. Well, knowing how secretive the governments are, we are not sure what really transpired behind the curtain but I doubt they know the real one. Is there even a real one? Are they not real two or three or four or more?

If we are to think about it, everything was planned by him perfectly before he leaves us to utilize the revolutionary bitcoin in the market. He knows how the world will treat it including pros and cons and he knows how to make sure that the market price of it will increase in the future (Bitcoin halving).

Though, in my point, it is also for his personal security that he doesn't want to be known by the people. So, in this case, we should already wonder why there are many people claiming they are the real Satoshi.

I am small but firm believer in Bitcoin and an admirer of Satoshi Nakamoto whether he can be a single individual or just a code for a group. Now, Bitcoin and the blockchain technology should be categorized as game-changing technologies and definitely they can be contributing a lot towards making this world a better place. But I don't think we are already stretching a lot to be attributing to this man the "change the world" attributes as if he is the only savior that we never had. Bitcoin is not perfect and we are seeing its many flaws (perceived and real) right now and because of this there should have been a continuing research and experimentation on how to make it grow as an organization. Bitcoin is not going to be the be-all and end-all solutions to gargantuan problems facing humanity.  Placing false hopes on something/someone will only make that something be the focus of disappointment later. Just my own opinion.

Regardless of what the government will do to Satoshi I don't want to speculate. What is clear at this time is that we all enjoy Blockchain technology as well because Satoshi introduced it for the first time.
Let's keep the cryptocurrency ecosystem from being quickly consumed by time because many people have depended on Cryptocurrency for their lives.

The government can't harm him. He did nothing that go against the law. Though if he reveal himself, he's still in danger because there are a lot who would probably want his bitcoin and such. I am not really sure if government will want to intervene with regards to satoshi but if in case he/she or they will show up and prove that he/she or they are the genuine satoshi then the one who has the power to intervene is the government where they are born.

But there is a very low possibility that genuine satoshi will show up again for the reason that bitcoin became very demanded because of its anonymity.

In start no one was interested in BTC that's y no one cared who satoshi is. Gradually with rise of BTC, satoshi also came into spotlight and the hunt started. But I think that was too late, tracing down an anonymous address after years is very difficult.

Governments have better things to focus on than hunt a person/team who have gone underground even if they owns a big stash of bitcoin capable of crashing the entire market.

But you never know because it has a lot of speculation revolves around this anonymous character. Sure they are still alive and in hiding somewhere and I believe that would be the better decision than be attacked by every government for creating something that is revolutionary.

I don't think the government will do anything to Satoshi even though he is found, but in my right mind, the name Satoshi could be part of a government project or the name of a project from the government, but if in my left mind satoshi there is a group that wants a financial system better in the future, but I don't know anyone knows about satoshi everyone thinks things are more about him, so aren't we all this is actually satoshi

Government can't do anything to Satoshi or the creator of bitcoin since the anonymity of him is not known (we're all sure about that) however government can still prevent the cryptocurrency from entering the country by setting some laws or regulation.
