How soon the blockchain industry can be adopted, is this within 2020?

Don't get your hopes up with a short amount of time, it takes a long time for that.
Lately I've seen everyone expect to happen in 2020, to be honest, I'm sick of seeing that because they are showing a panic.
It's better to just watch what will happen next.

Success don't come over night and so blockchain adoption and just be contented on what's happening right now in blockchain. And not to mention that we're seeing good  results on adoption.

2020 is unrealistic, tbh. I'm betting it will take a decade or so to fully adopt blockchain. Blockchain isn't just a easy peasy.

I think, with current situation, adoption won't happen because of dumb tax laws that treats Crypto like property instead of money. Even someone with honest intentions, can never use crypto as a means of exchange because of the tax headache. capital gains tax, fees from exchanges and transaction fees together makes it a very expensive way to buy a coffee. so the space is full of HODLers saving for their Lambo. Have sensible tax laws crypto or preferably none and lower transaction fees, and then more businesses will be open for Crypto payments. as a result you could expect adoption in early 2025.

We will never know how fast or slow it will be. It will depend in a country on how they will implement it. In my country there is a bit of adoption as the government is studying or planning to create a project like in election system thru blockchain. If the government already use it many will sure to foolow in adopting it.

It is very unpredictable, but I believe that in general crypto industry and blockchain technology slightly nearing the mass adoption. But we still have a lot of work to do, and I hardly doubt that the mass adoption will take place before 2025.

There are plenty of chances for the year 2020 to be a remarkable one but anything may happen because it cannot analyze the mentality of all the investors across the globe. Yes, it is all about how individual investors will be deciding about their money and risking level.

There is one big event is going to happen in 2020 i.e. bitcoin halving. Like many people, I am also believing that one event will be more than enough to make more people to get into crypto space because, it has more weightage compared to any other event in crypto space. Still, anything could happen and we should not expect adoption of crypto to happen very fast as it has no chances to happen in rapid manner but slow and steady will definitely win the race so that we can remember every upcoming year as a remarkable one for cryptos.

Its unpredictable and very uncertain, only time can tell us the right trend for 2020 and even hodlers say here that we will go for the mass adoption, the future can’t still be sure to be like that. I started to follow my own trend with bitcoin and blockchain industry, I’m very bullish and preparing well for that mass adoption, only me can understand my beliefs well you have to support yourself first.

Cant say 2020 will be the year of blockchain but I believe that blockchain will get more adoption then cryptocurrency. Blockchain is a revolutionary technology and its has frontiers that are even yet to be discovered.

No assurance still, also it is more blurry at this moment given that the market value of most cryptos are not that positive unlike before. The situation will just give other countries reason to doubt with regards to the adoption of the crypto industry . If ever there would be a recovery next year, I still doubt that it would be enough for other countries to do so. Adoption of a currency is not that easy especially with cryptos' case wherein volatility exist in nature.

Companies are already adopting blockchain technology however, it will likely have no effect on cryptocurrency because crypto is a different entity altogether and its adoption can only happen when we start see more use cases for it

2020 though is going to awake the big companies to migrate to blockchain system because its worth doing than just with the old system where security is always an issue. The dapps today will make these big companies realize they are already behind to the development. I think 2020 is not the right year.I think for the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies need at least another 5 years.

It is true that Blockchain is now getting a lot of attention and becoming a trend, adoption of big countries like China will be a big news for everyone in the world that could cause other countries to wake up from reality and acknowledge this technology as well. Perhaps on year 2020, half of the countries across the world had already use Blockchain technology but we cannot remove the fact that there will be some countries are against it hence, 2020 is not enough.

Yes, everything must happen organically so that it will sustain forever. But, I do expect both cryptos and fiat markets are going to go existing in this world because both are needed for a stable environment for time being. It might take long time for cryptos to completely eradicate fiats.

I agree mainstream medias are doing great job for making people get aware of cryptos. At the same time we cannot ignore their negative job like spending FUDs. But, overall medias are playing big role in spreading awareness about crypto adopting. When people first hear about crypto they will Google about it and then they will adopt it when they are taking time to analyze about its bright future. This will definitely take time for people so we cannot expect mainstream adoption of crypto to happen rapidly. It will take its own time. You're right, we can't really trust someone's words fully. the fact is that the growth of crypto is not high and therefore do not expect much because it will create a high appetite that is not controlled. it's better to wait and do some research for now

He is right when he says slowly but surely because that is the way to proceed, this is not a fad where everybody will notice it then fade away quickly, Bitcoin achieved it slowly and surely in the last ten years, but this time it will be a little bit fast than what is experienced in the last ten years, once the big companies and countries start coming in, things will go a little bit faster, but I like it that way slowly but surely.
