10% collateral BTC loan...real or scam?

I wanted to ask you guys about a Telegram group offering 10% collateral loans, so if you deposit 0.1BTC you get 1 BTC. They have decent members and all of them recieved their loan, at least they pictures of the transaction s and them happiness show this way. Some of My friends said its trully a scam and dont believe them, so I thought Maybe is a group scam. Since then a lot of other members got their loan, and because I can see any transaction on the blockchain is fully transparent. Should I go for it?

It sounds too good to be truth!
I will stay away from such things.
It seems both lender and the borrowers are waiting to fish and most probably everything is fake showing off.

There you go. Best indicator for a scam, if something is too good to be true it is too good to be true.
This is reason most people loosing money on all kinds of scams, pyramid schemes mostly, business opportunities etc.

Dude, Images are easy to be edited. Just photoshop and bam, easy edit. It's really hard to trust photo proofs since no KYC is involved. Plus, the deal is really too good to be true. I mean, WAY too good. I'd stay far away from that kind of thing, greed makes a lot of people do stupid things mate, and I wouldn't want it to happen to you. Just work for money normally not gonna lie, you'd have an easier time in maintaining your consciousness in a basic level, without all the panicking and heart-pumping danger of a probable scam that you might have just experienced when you entered and tried that telegram group.

Stay away from it! Its a pure scam that offers attractive conditions to lure you to send your BTC! And beware, these bad actors could very well approved the loans of some people and use his/her testimonies to lure others into a trap!

If you really want to have a loan with more peace of mind, then you may try to visit other established crypto lending platforms but of course, evaluate first and act with extreme caution. Imho.

People do not be naive, are you aware that these offers actually scream SCAM big as from here to the moon - no one normal will give you ten times more money then you deposit - I don't understand why some people even think it's possible.

Stay away from any Telegram, Twitter, Facebook, and any similar offers, these have become the platforms through which thieves operate, and once they get your coins, the game is over.

When I read the word telegram and loan together, it just made me sure about all of this being scam. Never trust on anyone on telegram, its a very easy pray hunting for scammers there. I would say just don't invest in that mud.

I forgot to mention that they ask for KYC and 300something members all got their loan. The transaction s ARe on the blockchain. They have a decent website too, Bitcoinist.com.
They claim themselves as angel investors, helping other startups. You need to pay back the loan in USD, so because of the BTC volatility it can easily be repayed in USD

It is interesting because you can report scam for a group on Telegram and this group is not a new one, has members and nobody reported as scam :-??

I thought bitcoinist was a news site? Is there anything on the site that mentions this telegram group? They can quite easily claim a link or affiliation which doesn't exist.

How they confirm the KYC and how people submit their KYC on the telegram group? It is really very suspicious and are you sure that Bitcoinist.com is truly connected by the group?

I have seen many telegram channels where they are running doubling investment [ hype ] and post screenshot and blockchain transactions. But they are totally scamming people.

So you should not trust them by depending on blockchain tnx and screenshot. Keep in mind that it is very difficult to earn money and time consuming but it does not take long to lose money. So don't be greedy or you will lose your money.

No meal is free, if anyone wants to lend you money they will definitely be interested in who you are and your ability to repay your debt.
I will stay away from such groups, lots of active scams and they have lots of ways to cheat people. As soon as you send money I guess you will be banned on the group and you will lose your money.

I really doubt that the telegram channel you are looking at is really connected to Bitcoinist at all. Likely, the group is trying to look legit by pointing at a real site (which by the ways seems far from being related to loans).

The premise alone, of 10% collateral for the loan, seems pretty much aimed at gullible people.

Did you even try to check the website they are bragging? If you visit https://bitcoinist.com there is no mention of any lending or any "angel investors".

It was a smart move on your part to ask here first. I don't know how much you were willing to put in there but you sure saved your money from a lending scam. How did you find out about them?

Why not take a loan lets say to a friend, a family member or a person whom you personally knew! I guess this would be the best recourse than to trust unknown entities which put you to a greater risk. Imho.

Listen to your friends and to what other members told you here: it is a SCAM! stay away from it.
Transactions on blockchain do not prove they are legit. Maybe it is a group of scammers sending coins to each other.

If they are willing to send you 0.1BTC after you send them 0.01BTC then I don't think they will mind giving you a 0.09 loan without collateral

dont try to join on that telegram group cause its obvious that it is a scam.  The members of that group are also scammers they show proof to attract people but believe me its a scam.

Whatever the collateral percentage is and whatever the yearly returns is, there's literally NO WAY I'm going to lend money to a telegram group. Imagine a scammer so bad at stealing money that they don't even bother to spend some money to rent a server and start a website.

When something sounds too good to be true, then it's definitely too good to be true, scammers always invent new ways to steal from the greedy and it seems they have found another means, calling it a loan instead of a money doubling scam scheme sounds more genuine and they wanna exploit it, if it were real, then it would be a money multiplying scheme.

Look at it like this... If they collect 10% collateral to give you loans, what stops you from just abandoning your collateral and riding into the sunset with your loot? So you would effectively have multiplied your money x10 when you successfully collect a loan, this doesn't make sense at all and it should tell you that the scheme is false and you should never consider doing it

Bitcoinist don't run lending services. They're a news website with more or less similar level of crypto journalism with other websites.
