The market skills are the main determinant for choosing the timeframe in trading, short term traders have a scalping ability to test the market liquidity while long term traders prefer to buy-hold for the weeks, months. In terms of profitability, the long term investors have a advantage over the short term traders, from my experience.

My answer is smart people. Smart traders will make money but smart investors will also make money. I don't know if there's more smart investors or smart traders. Nobody knows that. A dumb investor and a dumb trader will both lose money that's for sure.

That’s a good suggestion that people should invest when they are sure that the price will pump high this year so they can invest when it will be fallen but the problem is, nobody remain certain if the price will be high enough or not. We should check the market then take any decision about investment. As much as I know the price is going to be so well next year that’s why Better invest right now.

Being an investor IMO is a better choice for people who don't want to take too much risk. Although in our end, there's still a risk that we should be aware of but we're more into looking after the market for a week, a month or more, we're more for the long term.

While the traders, I can't myself to be a trader. I'm mostly failing with each of my traders although there's still profit but I'm more comfortable being an investor.

I think both have their success stories and to really point out which is more successful, one needs to be in their shoes. Traders have their own days of profit which can be on daily basis for day traders, and otherwise for long term traders. On the part of investors, most have to wait for a while in search of good projects which might pay well or might not depending on what the team have in mind. But for an investors, when he invests in a good project the profit is always worth it. In my own case I do both, but more of investing than trading and I always experience more success with investing.

Yes. We should not base our own success from others because we all have our different expertise in life. Becoming an investor or a trader is a way of making a decent income but for me, i also prefer being a bounty hunter because i'm very free to share my own ideas based on my own experience.

Yes you are right here only one man trader can makes profits everyday but holding and investment need long time ever. I always try my best to tech trading as well, I fell back 2017 my investing was good profits but i can't makes now. Because almost long days over the Cryptocurrency market situation is very bad.

Holding now is no longer profitable as this potential atcoin is falling further as time goes on. So for now bitcoin are  profitable in terms of holding because this is the only one that will give us big profit in the future.
