I don't want to sound misogynistic, but most women don't care about money that much. Also in programming/cryptography the men outweigh the women. At the present moment, to be sincere, it is quite impractical to start using bitcoin instead of cash and you make your life harder because there are not many stores accepting it. Bitcoin is certainly a good store-of-value and potentially amazing future investment, but how many women are passionate about investments and putting money aside to create wealth?

From where i am coming from Women is in the forefront when it comes to programming but cryptography not too much as they are much job oriented and if bitcoin is implemented by the high tech companies then you will see major adoption if not it will be hard to convince the regular hard working population. It is hard to know the actual women in the crypto market but i assume men overpower that sector.

I think the most of women don't want to bother themselves with new technology like blockchain and cryptocurrencies, what they want only is money wherever it's bitcoin or real money or anything valuable. I don't think that they'll care to invest on bitcoin to be honest. Probably they'll gonna work for it, but investing in it is quite hard for them. I'm probably wrong, but that's what I'm thinking.

I am not sure why. Maybe we just don't know about it. I say some stats saying 30% or something of holders are female. For me the hobbies and subculture I am in most people are female so I am use to being outnumbered. Wargaming is mostly male I don't know why. Bitcoin also is male but hoenstly I don't know that many people who know about bitcoin besides that it is digital gets mined and is a cryptocurrency. I did work with a Lady last year for the year so there are females around. The thing is she gave up on her dreams and even took her websites down. I won't give up so easily.

Although not all of them, women are not sensitive to investment models that are too complicated, their comfort is too standard on what can be used / spent directly.
I don't really understand, but many of my friends think that Bitcoin is very difficult, most of them give up when they see their assets go down dramatically like the current condition of bitcoin even though I have explained in detail, what they think is just loss and surrender.

It amazes me the number of men in crypto but women not so much. When I talk to my girlfriend or female friends I feel like they don't care about it or I am crazy lol. I offered 3 of my female friends 10 dollars worth of Bitcoin via Coinbase to see if they will be interested. I helped download the app, set up two-factor authentication and some other basic stuff. After a couple of months, they even don't recall how to access their wallets. I am very disappointed lol. Can someone explain to me why women are not interested in crypto?
Women are not really into bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because most of them assume that it is just a scheme to trick or to scam someone, that is why they only focus on real jobs and they don't want any take any risk. It is also the reason why I admire women who are into buying bitcoin and other cryptocurrency because they are not afraid to take the risk when it comes to investing their money in bitcoin and crypto.

I think it doesn't depend on gender? Why would it, it's a mainstream theme. Majority of community here are men, so maybe we should ask women why they aren't buying btc.

Yes, it doesn't really depend on gender. It's just coincidentally that men are the majority here and interested in cryptocurrency. I wonder why women aren't interested in it. Here in our country, there's a lot of women that's accountancy and finance here but don't know bitcoin. I think we need more introduction to all of the people that bitcoin is such a wonderful piece. Try to make a survey regarding that. All of the answers here are just opinions 'cause they're not women.

So you came to a conclusion that only few women are into bitcoin because three of your "female" friends forgot how to access their wallet after you gave them 10 bucks each? Lol. You probably didn't teach them how to use those wallets properly. You probably didn't show them how easily they could "shop" online using bitcoins. But, it is true. Females are less interested in these stuffs. Probably because these are all technology related (at least for now) and most females are kinda reluctant to these kinda stuffs.

I don't have that kind of thinking, because I don't care how many women or men buy bitcoin. But as far as I know, at least there are still many women who are interested in crypto because I often see real women in several social media accounts and even so, I've also occasionally asked my female friends in real life, they know about bitcoin but indeed, there are still many of them who are not interested in entering and I think it doesn't matter as long as bitcoin and other crypto can continue to grow so far.

First and foremost, you need to understand that Bitcoin has not gotten to that level where people with no knowledge about the entire crypto space will understand what bitcoin is and how it is used just by introducing it to them. Most women usually are not interested in things they either don't have knowledge about or don't understand. Mass adoption is the only way that can get a lot of women into the crypto space and make them start using bitcoin for their transactions.

yes I think most women are not interested in bitcoin. because they think bitcoin like gambling can provide huge benefits but it can also make us bankrupt overnight. women are very afraid of taking risks rather than money spent on something that is not necessarily better used for other things such as shopping. and I think women are not too interested in technology so it's only natural that there are very few women investing in bitcoin.

There's no specific study about this yet but if we are going to look at it logically, it can simply be because of the fact that men are the one who usually enter business firms. There are only few numbers of woman who gets involve in such and the same thing happens here in crypto. Women are not that interested in crypto since most of them aren't required to earn money at all. Most of them are actually clueless on what crypto does and what it contains. Maybe someday, when crypto becomes exclusive, the possibility that women will engage in crypto will increase.

I don't think we could base this on your friends.
There are a lot of people out there that you don't interact with, your conclusion is invalid with that small population. You can't say that they are not interested in, at least use some Slovin's formula there to get the right population to this. You are just deducting information out of your friends, but still, I can say that there are still a lot of women out there that cares about this.

Here is an interesting graph which is based on data extracted by Google Analytics by Coin.dance. It clearly showcases the marginally low number of women engaged in cryptocurrencies. There are couple of reasons for it. One is that girl's hand with technology has always been a bit poor. I am not defying any gender but I have seen from past experience that this is true. Secondly, girls in general in most of the countries except US and Europe aren't earners of family. Which means they are not at all interested in finding ways to earn or invest those earnings. I think this is the reason why they aren't interested in bitcoin.

Maybe there are a lot of reasons why woman don't really intent buying bitcoin and the first one reason is because they don't know what bitcoin is and they don't understand what bitcoin is and how bitcoin works or maybe they don't know how people are earning through the use of bitcoin. Another reason was because few woman are not intent to sufing the internet unlike the boys who always want to surf the internet and browse many kind of websites in the internet to know information and gain knowledge about something and women are not capable of it they don't like exploring in the internet so they don't know what bitcoin or cryptocurreny is so the main point is they don't know what bitcoin is and they are not trusting about it.

First of all let see who in this gender always using computer, I searched on google and I see that most user are Male, and Female are not much interested in technology and they all I want is to use social media and watching movie in YouTube. While men is using computer to earn and to explore new things like deep web, darkweb.
So for me because of that survey more male are much aware in bitcoin, because they will use this to earn money and to work smarter than to work harder.

Before offering your friends either girl or boy, ask them if they're interested or they really have the urge to learn bitcoin. The mistakes we do here is we just tell people what to do without consulting if they really want it. And maybe because they just forgot about it is because their not really interested in the first place.
On the second side, women are more practical and more afraid of giving so much risk. They love to play safe which is not easy here. Because investing in bitcoin is already a risk
Agree with this, it doesnt matter if you are a boy or a girl what matters most is did you really love buying bitcoin? And you have an interest on it? I dont believe that there are few women are interested to buy, because my sister already bought some of it, because she believes in a long term investment with bitcoin , she has also other investment like in stock market. It depends on their interest.
