The move may not seem like technical development, but Opera is one of the top 5 most downloaded browsers with more than 300 million users.
The add-on also allows Android users to conduct transactions directly from their embedded (built-in) digital wallet and interact with decentralized applications (dapps).
Opera has been trying to develop crypto & blockchain since last year[1].

Charles Hamel, Head of Crypto at Opera, told CoinDesk:
“Most people have heard of bitcoin and thus we saw it as important to support it and make this feature more familiar to a larger group of people.”

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Tongue
They actually added the whole wallet to the browser operation and seems like new card is coming after
This is a good idea however i also want to see something like brave that you can earn also from the ads. Giving any crypto currency such as BTC or ETH as a reward for users in this way more people will back to use this browser .

Brave is such a nightmare to work with from a privacy point of view. If you want to withdraw your earnings, you have to KYC verify yourself. Now, how is a browser focusing on privacy and whatnot doing when they want to know your information? They are contradicting themselves by claiming to be a browser respecting people's privacy.

The only way to not KYC verify yourself is to keep everything inside their centralized ecosystem, but what's the point of your earnings then? You want to cash out eventually, not have them isolate you inside their ecosystem for ever.

This topic has been around for several months, and I think Opera has done a lot of updates after that.

I use this browser, it is good at blocking ads but there is no use in such profits, do not forget also the central restrictions (KYC.)

In short, they collect everything that people see as an advantage and add it to their browser starting from VPN, WhatsApp,  going through a crypto wallet and other things. It's just a feature bundle in one browser.

I don’t know, but using a wallet linked to a browser is bad, and downloading wallets doesn’t take much time.
It is good to promote cryptocurrencies, but I do not recommend using it.
