I think that is the best decision. It seems you have acknowledge the existence of Bitcoin. If it is me I would also sell it to purchase Bitcoin. Bitcoin is very promising coins that is enough of getting a high return. HODL might be good option because the amount of a bike is not enough to use it in trade especially on investment because it requires a high amount of funds. However, I not sure if the bull market will come this year 2020 so just hold it until the right time comes.

almost the same on what i did last January when i sold my Old laptop to buy Bitcoin since there is no need for that old one and bitcoin is falling to $3k level that time and what happened?successful because Bitcoin grows to more than $13k several months after and i have sold before falling again and just last month i bought again when the price drops to $8k so now i am ready for the halving next year.

so OP your decision is right because what you did is investing and not for other nonsense expenses.

I think it is a good decision you had made, I also have a friend who is torn between selling his bike or not. I advised him to sell it because you can make the money multiply by putting it in trading then you can buy another bike later on right.

Done is done now. You cant undo that move. Dont think too much about this decision. If you are not an experienced trader then its good to stay with bitcoin in the start and HODL. You will see with time that long term investors are never at loss here.

I don't think it was a bad decision or a good decision ether I think it depend on the market I think the market price you invested was not a bad price in the market since you invested in 7k$ in the market I think it was already a good decision since the bitcoin price chart was in the 12k$ in the past month so I think in 2020 the bitcoin market price could quickly recover and surely it could give you profit.
