There is an argument for a 4th debate in which Trump debates Harris and Pence debates Biden. This would allow Americans to see a contrast between who would be president if their candidate were to be elected.

Is this coming from Trump/Rudy?  I can't find anything other than that letter Rudy sent requesting all new dates, a 4th Biden/Trump debate and hand picked moderators.

I think it's pretty clear Trump is approaching the debates the same as the election.  Do everything he can to control it (Rudys letter for example) and discredit the entire process so that he can get bonus points for performing the way he does 'in spite of'.  Basically same thing he does with elections.  Convince enough people you're a victim before hand and the downside decreases/upside increases.

They've also already laid some good ground work by claiming over and over that Biden doesn't want to debate him and is trying to get out of it (fabricated) for when he makes his inevitable ridiculous requests and Biden says no.

I mean I don't think it's a horrible idea to have another debate. The Trump camp isn't wrong about early voting and such, meaning that a lot of people in the public won't have even heard both Trump and Biden go against one another before they make their vote. Would be better for the people to hear the two of them debate first, can't hurt, eh?

Pretty sure the issues surrounding this birther conspiracy have been talked about in high school civics courses -- if you're born on American soil you're an American citizen. Regardless of parental status. It's up to Americans to determine if that's 'American' enough to be President, but according to constitutional law everything should be fine.

President Trump said Friday the news that former FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith will plead guilty to making a false statement is "just the beginning" of the fallout from U.S. Attorney John Durham's review of the Russia investigation.

"That's just the beginning, I would imagine. This... what happened should never happen again," Trump said at a White House briefing Friday afternoon. "You'll be hearing more."

He also called Clinesmith a "corrupt FBI attorney," part of former FBI Director James Comey's "very corrupt FBI."

Clinesmith was referred for potential prosecution by the Justice Department's inspector general's office over an altered email about former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page claiming he was "not a source" for another government agency. Page has said he was a source for the CIA.

The DOJ relied on that assertion as it submitted a third and final renewal application in 2017 to eavesdrop on Page under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Two sources close to the investigation told Fox News on Friday that Clinesmith will plead guilty.

"Kevin deeply regrets having altered the email. It was never his intent to mislead the court or his colleagues as he believed the information he relayed was accurate," Shur said in a statement.  "But Kevin understands what he did was wrong and accepts responsibility."

I think the cow stuff is stemming from republicans continuously misrepresenting a sarcastic note on a draft of the green new deal about why the goal was 'net 0 carbon emissions' and not '0 emissions' "because we can't get farting cows that fast".  Millions of people believe the green new deal wants to get rid of cows.  I guess Trump figured out that 'Dems want to take away your meat' is pretty effective and decided to try it out on Kamala.

Please, you can't be serious. He's denied so many interview requests, including one from Chris Wallace, and hasn't done a press conference in ages. He's taken interviews from people that refuse to press him on critical issues and throw softball questions who watch him fumble over his words. The guy is barely alive and is being tucked away in his basement right now. 10 seconds of air time on MSNBC is great and all, but the fact is that him hiding from the public eye as a campaign strategy has only invited criticism from conservatives and the media isn't known for a conservative bias.

He sounds good in speeches because they're given to him ahead of time and they're rehearsed. The moment he goes off the cuff is when things begin to fall apart.

No it was 56 percent. Not sure why I put 53. Regardless of it being the main reason or not, "not Trump" shouldn't be a reason to vote for someone. Most Americans are dumber than a sack of rocks so I don't expect them to have any grips about substantive policy anyways but like I said, politics is a team sport rooted in tribalism. No doubt people are going to vote against Trump out of spite. And while doing so, they're going to vote in someone with potential dementia as well as a fake opportunist who insinuated her running mate was a sexual assaulter.

This was the point I was making. What you're describing is tribalism in politics. The reasons people feel inclined that Candidate A would be horrible are not policy based, evident from the Pew Research poll.
