Anyone considering voting for a reality TV celebrity because the other candidate talked to a celebrity of some sort really needs to get their priorities checked by a licensed professional.

Joe Biden can talk to whoever he wants to but Cardi B is just...weird. Her music is kinda trashy and like I said earlier, she doesn't have any involvement in politics that is substantial.

Trashy? Yes. Not sure if this is an opinion one though, she has admitted to some pretty horrible stuff.

But I mean, if this helps the Biden camp get out the vote they're going to do whatever works. They really don't care what it is, and how they're going to have to do it.

Biden has officially been given the title of Dem nominee for President (officially) Not sure we're going to see the same 'convention bounce' for candidates this year, simply based on the fact that there isn't too many regular people watching the conventions this year. I assume they're getting the same amount of coverage -- but watching someone on Zoom is pretty different then watching them on a stage with tons of people cheering.

Yeah I didn't really watch into too much of it. Saw some analysis of it on political news stuff, but haven't gotten to it yet. I can only imagine how little everyday people care about a convention like this when a political junkie like me hasn't even cared to look into it yet.

Back to Michelle Obama for a moment, with her so involved here and there I'd expect her to make some sort of run. Maybe it's just the Obamas keeping their face around so they can still make a few more bucks while retired. Who knows.

I'm guessing the goal was to reach 18-24 year olds who don't follow politics and convince them to vote.  I don't think her past really matters in terms of the election.

Not really interested in getting into an abortion debate, but I consider it an essential medical procedure that every woman should have access to.  I don't think that the fact that in the past it was used to reduce population is relevant.

TBH I've got no idea what my kids listened to growing up but none of them turned out to be sluts so it's a mystery really how this music thing works. It's almost as if they don't use it as a textbook or something.

It all really seems like a rerun of 2016 to me..
I don’t think Biden and Harris are very strong opponents so the d noms have gone well for a trump reelection..
I think all the rioting and blm bullshit will actually drive more voters for trump..
The whole Covid thing is just unfortunate and obviously being played out to the max by leftist states..
