The WCF of the NBA playoffs also wrapped up earlier today, with the Spurs beating the Thunder in the final game. I needed the Thunder for my BSFL entry, but they couldn't keep up with the Spurs three point shooting.

I could not believe my eyes when they put Gabriel Magalhães to take the last penalty and he missed.

Same, I was expecting the penalties to drag on after Eze and Mendes missed their shot, but Gabriel's miss suddenly became the final nail in the coffin.

Even the best players have their bad moments, and it just had to happen at the worst time possible with the trophy on the line.

I hope you cashed that out while they had the lead because things only got ugly for Arsenal after that early 1-0 lead. I'm just glad that I didn't have a bankroll for the time being, as I might've dropped a good chunk of it on PSG to win in regulation. 

Interesting fact, I didnt cash them out lol. I could still cash them out after 1-1 for 2.8x because I chose Arsenal to lift the trophy so a draw wouldnt really affect me that much but yeah I chose to ride it till the end. I think PSG conceeding too early forced Arsenal into a massive low block and made it very difficult for Paris to play their game. Anyone know how many shots on goal went down in that game? I'm too lazy to check.

The early goal ruined the start of the game because Arsenal was more interested in not losing than winning with a nice finals game

We were lucky that PSG scored a goal and finished with a tie because the penalty shooting was more fun after a long game of Arsenal not taking risk or attacking very thoroughly

Many people said football won that day because Arsenal did not deserve the win because of the play style. And I think I can agree even if I was cheering for a first win for Arsenal

Well it turns out the Champions League game was not what i was expecting to see, im not saying it was a bad game because it was in fact a really good one but i was expecting to see more goals in the game and that didnt happen at all which makes me also lose in the BSFL.

I think PSG deserve the victory and Arsenal suepr early goal put them in a difficult position, when you find a early game sometime you dont know what to do after it.

Under 10 shots on goal would of very risky to put on a finals but as arallmuus said Arsenal only had one shot on target then they completely shut off offensively after putting in that first goal.
Not sure what sort of strategy they were going for but this seems to be the England way of play matches out which in the end do not seem to work against European teams.
Paris St. Germain had turned things up in the second half with their shots on goal but not by much.

Can't wait until the finals in the NBA start in a couple of days from now. The bookies have San Antonio as the favorites to win it all. But New York are well rested since they swept their previous opponents so easily.
This will be another great series to watch and expect it to go the full seven games because the Spurs are just that good.

We also have sympathy for Arsenal to taste the Champion League trophy, but we thought this would not happen and sure enough they failed again, I also doubted the under 2.5 which was afraid that PSG could score a lot of goals, unfortunately chose 1X2.

There is nothing Arsenal can do after taking a quick lead, except for total defense, shots on goal more than 20 only shot on targe 5 from both teams.

I think this is one of the reason the game continue until penalty shootout as well but Arsenal play a boring game as usual but it works out the best for them.

This is how it in the NBA especially when a playoffs game starts the series, the home court advantage weighs out how the game will shape for the rest of the following games.
In football it is different since you mention the climate, it does not affect basketball as much since they play in an arena where they can adjust the oxygen levels while being indoors.
Where elevation in an opened field can affect the players much more.

Well it seems like in the end New York Knicks was a super value worth bet, i was not expecting to see them winning the first game despite i consider them as favorite to put the ring on their finger, and it was also a super easy victory for them, i think Brunson deserve also some respect he does quite a good job in every team he was and right now in the NY.

So the under on points could be better to take.
Can't see all of them going over that total due to both of these teams tend doing blowouts once they get a sizable lead.

Yeah its about time for them to bounce back. I mean if they can do it against OKC then I guess they could do it against Knicks so its just a matter of time.
