The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

It depends on everyone's own choice. Most of us know the situation of USDT, but when we look at the volume, we come to a completely different conclusion. Its 24hour volume is almost 5x of the total marketcap. USDT balloon will not live much. Therefore if you prefer, look for stable coins like DAI, USDC, GUSD, PAX instead of USDT.

Decentralized stable coins are the perfect option now, if you are still into tether USDT I will advice you not to withdraw from exchange and keep because anything can happen at any time

well I prefer the DAI Stablecoin which will not lose its value rather than you having to use tether as a trading tool ,anyway why do you question stablecoin? I think is not good as an investment for the long term because of price stability?
