Keep your btc, is fairly cheap right now and you would deeply regret it in a future, save it in a paperwallet destroy printer and pc, and remember no connection and  lot of entropy (generate a lot of addresses before selecting)  .
Physicals are really nice but, btc comes first .

If you're confused about the price variations then you can perform further research and pin point what the price of bitcoin was during the particular sale. You'll see that while the bitcoin sales price may have fluctuated the price in terms of USD doesn't really.
