Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?

Maybe some employers legally use devices on network to see what is going on, others might use keystroke capture software or devices - so it is not a good idea to use a third party PC to access your trading account whether at work or anywhere else.

I would stick to using safe laptops or PC in your own home just to be on the safe side.

When you are applying to a company it is important to know and understand all of the rules and how they treat their employees so you can have an idea if it is advisable to do trading at your office. Most of the companies are not that strict that they monitor every small activity of their employees so I think it is good to trade at work but to make sure you are safe, just bring a pocket wifi and a decent laptop so you will not get monitored.

it's good to trade in your spare time, so that your brain does not focus on two branches (trading and office work), because trading is not an easy problem. After all, office computers can usually be accessed by anyone (fellow employees), aren't you afraid that the computer you use turns out to have malware that is ready to eliminate assets in your trading account? be careful friend.

Specifically during break time, and a lunch break. But not really trading but checking the portfolio and price updates.BTW, I am using my phone for checking because its not good yo used the company's resources during working hours for personal gain /purposes.  

Trading could never be done in office hours. If we look more deeply then I think that it does depend upon the kind of job that you are doing. There are many people out there who work at places related to the finance such as the banking systems or others. They do get benefit because they can easily trade at work. In fact, their job benefits them as it is much relatable to the crypto market.

I completely agree with your point of view, if your job is linked to crypto in any way, that would give you the background knowledge and you will be more comfortable in dealing with both at the same time. If you are from a completely different field like literature or science than you will not have any knowledge about exchanges and trade. This will require much effort from your side. There will be more chances of errors from your side in both types of work.

Yes, when but i have control i entered for a trade that will don't eat my time watching the chart every minute Trading at work is not good however as long as you can handle it without any problem and you will not lose because of trading at work then its fine. Don't make things complicated if you cannot trade at work simply don;t trade at all

but if anyone has done it I think it is a very risky activity because if caught by the boss then most likely the person will be scolded

not only scolded in my opinion, the biggest risk is to be fired, because it violates office rules, and besides that it violates office hours that should work but is used for personal gain, but it would be a different story if the company owner also trades, I think this can be an advantage, because it can be close to the owner of the company because it has the same hobby.

Well, if you have a job as a trader then by definition you are just doing your job and you could easily trade your own account and make money that way and most people will never realize this, but if that is not the case and I guess that is the case for most people, I really think it is a bad idea to trade at your job, if you do it you could easily be fired since you are doing something else with the purpose to obtain a financial gain and you are not doing your job correctly because of it.

I have tried it couple of times in my work computer but mostly I trade using my phone because it is more convenient and I can trade anywhere I am so long as there's an internet connection. I don't think it is a terrible idea so long as the computer you are using is fully protected and it has updated anti-virus and also you make sure that you log out every time you are not using it especially if the work computer is common to anyone at work to make sure that no one will be able to use your account.

I think it is a high risk strategy to use work PCs especially if you have a phone to hand but if you felt it was safe and your PC was protected and nothing untoward happened afterwards then that was good.

Does your employer use any key-stroke software or have T/Cs stipulating what you can and cannot do on work PCs?

Been doing it thru my phone. I created a new profile on tradingview, its easy to create one anyway and then view it on the desktop, I bid on my phone in binance as I have also installed its app. This isn't hard to do actually but you'd be distracted most of the time since you are going take a peek to your phone from time to time specially if you haven't set a sell order yet.

Yes, distraction will not help you. When trading, we need maximum concentration. because we need to seriously analyze the chart and if we are distracted by some other factors, our decision making will be inaccurate. I used to do that at the coffee shop, when I was addicted to trade and it was really silly. As a result, I did not serve the best and my trade results were not good. after that boss also fired me and I was extremely embarrassed. So I recommend you only do 1 job at a time, don't try to trade while you have to do something else.

There will be a distraction if we will execute our trade in a kind of environment that we are not used to trade. I only prefer to trade at home because of the convenient feeling where I can strategize and think very well. But there are professional trader who trained theirselves to trade in all type of environment. That kind of trader in the another level and we can only achieve it through experience and studying.

Indeed, I once used an office computer for crypto affairs and often did because I was lazy to bring a laptop from home for work. I trade on office computers in various exchanges and I feel safe because my office computer is just me that uses it, and at the office only I deal with crypto. My friends don't know what crypto is all this time.

no and never compromise your accounts from other internet server and also never compromise your companies file also in this way everyone will keep safe.

i have once tried to do trading at work but after that there is a thread crosses me here in forum saying that using other internet is not safe so i decide not to have done in other area than my house.

though now i know that my trading desire has ended instead i will choose Holding since then.

Yes some times it become difficult to gamble at work but some times it become easy  if you are allow to trade at your work. I am not allow so better Avoid trading as it needs proper knowledge about trading and then you will have to pay full attention towards trading. So don’t trade at work and trade only when you are mentally relaxed and free from other works.

I resign from my office and keep focus with trading and investing in bitcoin, during still work in the office I can't focus and manage when I have trade and work because bitcoin and altcoin price growing up not wait for my time is free, many time when I working bitcoin and altcoin have potential growing up to higher price.

That's really sad to hear, that's why it would be too risky too if you are trading at work and you have full load, and you have boss around you so it is not really recommendable.

As per me, I am trading at work when I just done with my deadlines, and when my boss our out, it's just likely twice a week.

Yes sometimes, only have the time to trade and when there is a chance to buy or sell coins.. because my company not watching my activity everytimes, and i think no problem during not bother my mainly work. it can be another source income for me its mean this i can get double profit for my self.

Of course, it's good to be able to work and trade in parallel, but it all rests on quality, if you were able to spend enough time and learned to trade on the plus side - then you are the winner.

i always take my free time to learn more about trading and sure to update about the news of coins because new help so much price of coins. not all traders were able to spend enough time and learned to trade will always be the winner or always get the profit every trade. not like that winner have to pass the lose before you are winning

In cryptocurrency, trading is the most profitable transaction today, and it depends on the user or the trader how do they manage their transactions to make more earning. Today one of the problems of the trader is getting feared to the deals they made, and I think trading in work is not a good idea because in just a single of time you can trade, but you cannot monitor the transactions or the market price because you need to focus on your work and it is not good because if we are talking about trading, you need to monitor the transactions because in just a single minute may change a lot in market price. Also, it depends on your trading technique how it will affect on your income sometimes, you can make a wrong decision because you focus on your work that may cause of loss of income.

You can trade at work lol, and trading is just watching the price chart and click sell or buy if you want. For me, it's possible as long as your office and boss are not strict with regards to that. Trading at work is just fine if you are applying to use your phone and access the internet.

If your firm is strict with regards to using a cellphone at work, you should consider long term trading considering that you don't have enough time to monitor day trade or scalping. Long term trading is the best trading strategy if you don't have enough time to monitor and analyze the chart.

it is true that trading must be done during quiet times because it will help focus. maybe if trading in a company would disrupt work and blame the rules and the level of focus would also be disturbed, so I think it would be better at free hours to trade.

Always trade although working at company because bitcoin and altcoin raise to higher price without waiting for we are free time, they always getting to be in higher price we we sleep or busy with our job, so stay tune with your mobile phone and keep alert after bitcoin want to growing up with higher price.
