Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

A representative from the "virtual currency community" to be included in some work group for regulations.

He's not sure if "virtual currency" is a currency. It is a way to transfer value.

"The way to look at it is like other financial innovations." Makes a parallel with PayPal when it first came out (in the context of regulations always).

He was answering when a reporter asked if [cryptocurrencies?] should be affraid of him and his title. He said something like "no" then said that his responsibility was to oversight FinCEN to make sure US sanctions were effective, terrorism-blablabla and money-laundering-etc were in place. Earlier and just now said that buying tickets, beer and cheetos with Bitcoin is not illegal.

You're welcome! Here's another snippet from the same interview where the focus shifted completely to the current Ukraine situation and sanctions:

http://www.bloomberg.com/video/will-russia-move-further-into-ukraine-7aLnhM58T6OE_RFW7w2Pgg.html

It started as an offshoot question after Cohen mentioned his responsibility on making sure sanctions are not bypassed (by "virtual currencies").  But this particular snippet was not about Bitcoin (nor "virtual currencies").
