But this is not a waves asset, right? Since waves rebranded their dex as waves exchange, they are now accepting alts or tokens.

Also, about your block explorer link, is that for aegeus and not for knoxfs? I was looking for Knox but to no avail, only Aegeus is there.

Waves hosts only Waves tokens right now as we know, but we are not a waves asset, KnoxFS will be a POS coin, just using WavesDex as a place to host the crowdfund. We would like to start the chain just before the crowdfund and swap finished, that's why you can't find the explorer yet.

Okay, got it! But why WavesDex for crowdfunding? Why not regular exchanges with better trading volume? As everyone knows, WavesDex doesn't really attract much traders. But I have no idea right now when they changed it to Waves Exchange, as I was reading some feedback, they increase a lil bit of trading volume.

No, not really, it's just the place where we run the sale.

We are moving forward and will be releasing the KFX wallet, and starting to conduct the swap on February 10th. A final snapshot will be taken just before the release of the wallet.

The process is very simple, and will NOT require a complicated series of events. We have streamlined the process to make it as easy as possible for everyone involved.

This will also allow everyone to swap their coins at their leisure. There is no cutoff time for the swap. So even if you're out of town, busy with work/family, or just lazy, you can do this whenever you have the time.

We hope to have the MAC wallet ready for relase on the 10th as well.

Here are the 7 simple steps to perform the AEG - KFX swap:

Remember, this will start on the 10th.

1. Make a copy of your AEG wallet.dat file.
2. Download the KFX wallet.
3. Install the KFX wallet to your computer.
4. Open the KFX wallet and let sync.
5. Once the wallet is synced, close the wallet.
6. Insert your AEG wallet.dat copy into your KFX wallet install directory.
7. Start KFX wallet and let sync again.


That's it! All of your AEG is now KFX!

We are also announcing that we will be conducting a community bounty program for everyone to earn some extra KFX! This will involve Twitter, BitcoinTalk, and article writing.

Rules and how to perform each of these bounties will be added to their respective channels here on Discord in the next day or 2. The goal of the bounty is to help spread awareness about Knox File Secure and get new investors to jump on board.

With slow sales, we need to be more active in getting the word out. With sales, we will be able to get KFX listed on exchanges, as well as get paid advertising on sites like masternodes.online.

Dear members of the KnoxFS community, time has come to give you an update on what we have been working on.
First of all i would like to thank you again for your patience and your loyalty. It hasn't always been easy and the crypto winter lasted a loooong time
But to continue this metaphor; spring is coming and let us enjoy those first sunbeams.
The past couple of weeks we worked on a business development plan for Knox FS. As you can read in my intro in Discord, i've recently volunteered to help Bads3ctor, Mindiff and the other team members with communication, marketing and the commercial side of the project.
Being a micro cap project we were and still are facing a couple of challenges; a small development team, few financial resources, limited brand awareness and a decreasing number of community members. In order to break the downward spiral and get the project back on track, we will boost the project with a series of updates.
All of these updates will be released to the public next week,  in a true 'announcement week' :slight_smile: Starting on Monday the 3rd, we will announce a project update every day of the week.
I like to emphasize that all actions that we will take in the weeks and months to come, are aiming to create exposure to KFX, increasing the brand awareness and consequently growing our userbase and community.
We are only viable with a large userbase of loyal holders. Afterall, we are still developing an innovative storage solution for a wide target group. So we have to start spreading our name to the public and attract new investors that are interested in the product we are developing.
That being said, we also had to improve some fundamental parts of the coin and the chain to stay relevant to the market. Without disclosing the details today, we want to give you a heads-up on the updates you can expect next week. In random order; we will announce something about our coinsale, about funding, our total supply, new partners, wallet updates, airdrops and last but not least a new exchange listing. Hope this will get you as excited as we are!
We hope that we can count on your support. I'm convinced that with a joined effort of our wonderful community, we can achieve great things this year.
