What are your thoughts on the future of Bitcoin?

We think, that its price is slowly starting to get less and less volatile with each cycle. And long term predictions usually turn out to fail, the longer the more likely.

Here you have two examples: in 1980 no one would have believed that not only the Soviet Union would nothing else than a history, but few of its satellite countries would become NATO member states.
In 2000 almost no one would have thought that today there will be something "purely virtual" worth $7000 and mined on thousands of computers.

I only saw one prediction that was accurate and that's the one by Pompliano: he said there is going to be a decrease to $3000 in 2019 and after that decrease, the price will start being bullish, and that's exactly what happened, the price decreased to around $3000 and in April it started going up.

Others were just making some stupid predictions that are not going to happen even in the next ten years. Sam Doctor predicted $36,000 this December less than fifteen days and December 2019 will be over, but the price is still struggling at $6,000 rate after dropping from $7000. I am not expecting any increase till the halving.

No one can be sure of the price of bitcoin for sure in the period until 2040, we can only see the movement of one of them from an analysis using historical events that can be made as a reference to where the bitcoin movements will go in the following year.

For example, for today the movement tends to be in the condition of the support area at the price of $ 6700. If there is a breakout of that support, I think bitcoin will likely return in the price range around $ 3000.

I really think it will happen Bitcoin is always doing this Bull and Bear movement back and forth now so it is not new that there will be a time or year that the price will surely go back again and may hit another new all-time high but this time I think it is pretty elusive right now,

And there are pretty much many stressful inflation that is happening right now people are just panicking all the time because of the said inflation of the market we can not control this it will surely happen.

I think bitcoin will be in a downward trend from now until the end of 2019, by the beginning of 2020 bitcoin will have a slight increase and it will take until the end of 2020 bitcoin to increase above $ 10k.

I have great faith in bitcoin so I think in the future bitcoin will be accepted in many countries and the price of bitcoin will rise sharply.

On 23rd October 2019 Google Artificial Intelligence Division claimed their quantum processor completed in 200 seconds a tasks that a state-of-the-art supercomputer would take approximately 10,000 years to complete ( even if IBM replied their supercomputer would take only 2.5 days to complete).

By 2040 the incentive to modify Bitcoin to something that protects it from quantum computing, that's if it's an actual problem and getting a definitive answer to that seems rather hard, will be overwhelming.

all encryption algorithms should be treated as if they have a limited shelf life. we didn't need quantum computing to break SHA1, did we? so this isn't a new problem.

the bitcoin core developers have already mulled over this issue. the consensus is that we'll just implement a post-quantum signature algorithm when the threat becomes closer. until then, let's savor ECDSA's small transaction sizes a bit longer. post-quantum signatures are really large so upgrading to quantum resistance is not without its costs.

I find it more likely that Bitcoin ends up being just a memory at that point due to the lack of demand than quantum cumputing. It's something that's hyped a lot mainly by the mainstream media to trash talk Bitcoin.

I personally won't make any prediction until we have broken through the $20k all time high, which in all fairness, we might never see again. I'm open to that possibility even though I think it's more likely that it will get broken.
