Bitconnect is fraud before they release because of their promises and they are focus on investment scheme that is why other people telling that there is no investment scheme that will make you rich fast and almost all investment online have a high risk unlike a real bank with only 1% to 3% yearly interest.

Bitcoin is a lending investment and they promise that we will make a good profit but after the government of UK they issued Bitconnect a notice with two months to prove its legitimacy. Bitconnect fails to provide that they are legit and they found that the bitconnect company has never existed.
That is why they end up to become scam in the first place their plan is to scam people.

I guess "one coin" existed in the early days of cryptocurrency. I never really had the chance to know what the currency was all about.

There is a lot of scammers are creating the ponzi scheme right now and plustoken should be the next biggest fraud in the crypto history. As far as i know it was also scamming billions worth of money.
People are so blindly caused by what they wanna get from those scam projects are daily interest. But people are learning a lot right now about how to determine the scam project.

That's true and can be said plustoken is one of the biggest crypto scams of all time. It is not as popular as bitconnect, but fraud from plustoken bad impact the market and some articles say that the market decline when plustoken fraudsters dump their assets that happened some time ago and this has come to the attention of many people, especially the crypto community.

I just laugh when I read comments like that.  Exaggeration is another tool of scammer to promote their scheme.  Many had been persuade that onecoin will replace  Bitcoin.  It was very popular in one area in my country, those local promoters often ends up in a heated discussion whenever someone ask legit questions pointing to the Onecoins scheme being scam.
