What if Theymos added new Rank after Legendary?

So far, in my opinion the forum does not require a new ranking after Legendary. Maybe the award will be more suitable for those who have reached the Legendary rank. The badge might also be quite good as a form of appreciation given by the forum for the Legendary profile which managed to get a minimum of 1000 merit with customized activities and posts.
Excample:
Legendary I with 1000 merit, 775-1030 activity and 1030 post
Legendary II with 2000 merit, 1550-2060 activity and 2060 post
Legendary III with 3000 merit, 2325-3090 activity and 3090 post

This is only a suggestion, but it is very annoying when I want to reach the badge 3rd Legendary with 3000 merit.

I’ve been stuck here for over 10 minutes, glued to the screen, trying to make my mind up on this one. I’m not really much in favour of another rank level (I personally liked Sr. Member, but those name above seem a notch pompous for my taste) , but I certainly do see that it fits, and gives a certain additional lateral objective to many here to ponder.

I think it's not necessary anymore as everyone can be a contributor in the forum, regardless of the rank.
In this forum, there are people who ask and their are people who contribute through their answer, and that's just what we really need.

TBH IMO, some members are just ranking up for them to participate in a signature and to get a good rate, after they rank up, that's it, they stop contributing because they got their ultimate goal already. We just want to see members sharing like a free community that rank does not create a big difference to everyone. my 2 cents.

It looks good for people at higher ranks however isn't it those on low ranks that got a little hope of being promoted to a higher rank will be more left behind? I am not opposing the idea but I just feel pity to those on the lower tier specially those who got underrated post.

Anyone who earned more than 2500 merits should be given a special tag or badge along with the legendary rank IMHO.

But chances of adding features for very number of people might be less since thyemos mentioned multiple times he is busy with forum development and personal life at different threads.

With or without new rank, they are all recognized here. I don't see convincing reasons to have new rank if the new one does not give users who have it any kinda benefits.

If there is a new rank, with a requirement at above 2000 total merits (1000 airdropped + 1000 self-earned merits; or 2000+ self-earned merits - depends on old-era or new-era Legendary members), how many users will get it for now, or even next one year? Not many as I see.

For what, ranking must be as high as the sky, if only to make spamer and fraud in the Bitcointalk Forum, enough for the current rank of "Legendary".

Now there are 9 rankings each member has gone through, ranging from Brand New to Legendary, plus the Copper Member position that must be purchased.

If you think it really needs to be done, just give those who have the rank of Legendary something that can benefit those who have more Merit value and who contribute well in this Forum, Whatever it is, the important thing is useful.

I thought about OP's idea for a long time... And I embrace it somehow, meaning that I think it would be nice to have a Legendary / Legend rank for the true legendary users from here, such as Satoshi, Hal, Laszlo, or GameKyuubi.

These guys became parts of Bitcoin history!

Of course, there are others as well  but they are the first who came in my mind.

And this proposal would mean either to offer only to them the Legendary rank (and have a different name for the highest "regular" rank - the one after Hero) or to create a special rank for them (such as Legend).

It would be nice to have a distinction for those who wrote history, especially for those who are not active anymore or passed away.
