2020 Bitcoin halving!!! Bull run???

The crypto industries and communities has been quite expecting the upcoming bitcoin halving with much hope of another bull run coming up after the bull run failed in 2018 through 2019 now we all looking at the 2020 with the halving as an excuse to trigger the bulls to start running 🏃.

I personally is not putting much expectations on this, no one should fall for the hype. After what happened to the litecoin halving this year, I Don't expect too much from bitcoin.

Too many eyes on bitcoin now, too many interests are more reason why you shouldn't expect so much from the next halving. There will definitely be a bullish move but not as much as we anticipate or what most analysts has predicted.

The next bull run will come unexpectedly all you need to do is stay focused.

2020 is 2 days away trade and invest wisely. 2018 was hell to many investors don't be part of the sad story next year.

I can only hope for the best for cryptocurrency, hopefully this will really happen like 2017, but if it hasn't happened this will also be a test of patience before everything is completely recovered. I am really looking forward to a good surprise in 2020 and hopefully this will come true and all doubts about cryptocurrency will be reduced and investors will return

I completely agree that we do not need to hope very much that Halving will greatly affect the price. the next bull market will begin when we will see positive news from governments that will begin to understand what bitcoin is and how it can help to many people. halving can bring just a small profit

It's not good to completely carried away due to speculations as it will be a huge disappointment for most of the users if we don't see any bull run post halving because almost 70% of users including myself are convinced that we will have bull run post halving. We need to have an alternative plans for future as we cannot be dependent on just bull runs.

Believe me, many people wanted to move on from that sad story . All I can think of the solution to this problem is bitcoin halving. I remember the bitcoin halving last 2017 as it was the wick of a bull run. Big bull run. And it's also expected in the next halving. Many are predicting that it will fall to 100k dollars or more. Hope that's true, that's for the benefit of all.

Last time i thought that halving was already in the price. i was so wrong. This time i think it's going up again with a similar fashion, but i a afraid that i am wrong again.

Definitely, the highly waited and anticipated bull run is slowly cooking and we are just at the start of the next bull cycle that is expected to last good 12 to 24 months and personally im expecting biggest ever bull run this time around because of entrance of institutions and also legal products like bakkt already launched and growing everyday.

BTC halving ha a great historical data (check the BTC chart), so i guess it's gonna be great date for sure especially that the next halving date will take even more years to reach it which makes BTC even more worthy in dollar value.

Halving speculation already got priced in from May 2019 to May 2022, hence the rise from $5K to $14K.
Halving "stock to flow" growth will come shortly afterwards in my opinion, following accumulation that will lead to moon moon moon.
Too many speculators front-ran the "year before the halving pump" and overshot the mark in my opinion, that story has already been bought & sold.
But then what did you expect when something happens twice, people bet on the third time lucky scenario.

I think it is okay if we cannot see bitcoin is not get a bull run in 2020 because bitcoin will rise in the future. We still have many times to see bitcoin will be back to the higher price, but now, many people waiting and hope that the bull run will happen in the next year. Many people are curious about what will happen to bitcoin before and after halving moment because if we check at the history before, after the halving time, bitcoin price will start to increase and break every high price.

what we are seeing now could be a bull run
several analysts were claiming that 6200-6400$ is the support level for this year and we would be lucky to not see it drop
maybe the market is buying in expectations of the next year's halving , but the curve is going to be not the steep " it was 7500 and is 15.000 next week "
historically we see every halving goes exponential , peaking half a year after the actual halving happens
but if what we see now is the bull run , then the price could be even lower than today
I sincerely hope for solid , not a bubble -like growth the next year , nut I'm slightly sceptical because the adoption is not going as fast as we all would like
bitcoin is far from being widely used as a payment method and not so many big names are accepting it
people are waiting for SEC , halving , miraculous price growth etc. while sitting on their coins and doing nothing

I'm finding that, like you, people aren't very excited about the halving. Some people think it'll be a dud, others think lots of miners will shut down and that'll be bearish for the price.

I recall similar sentiment in early 2016. Everyone said the halving was priced in.....then the price doubled.

I always think the value of BTC is as much as its mining value and to me, this is the most convenient way. Now, considering that mining value will be twice at halving, the price should be twice the current value. I do not know if BTC will reach this price before or after halving, but make sure it will. As a result, the price is more likely to increase.

Why do you compare Bitcoin to LTC, even in terms of halving? LTC is altcoin, fade copy of BTC and 2017/2018 is crushed altcoins so hard that they will not recover for a long time (maybe never). It actually turned out that there could only be one king on the throne, everyone else will fail over time.

What bull run in 2018 or 2019 you are talking, did anyone expect a bull run in those years? These were definitely years of correction and accumulation, bull run so far occur in the period 1 to 1.5 years after halving (2016 halving/2017 December big bull run).

You really mixed a lot of wrong and irrelevant facts, with completely wrong periods of time and with a certain amount of pessimism. I am not saying next halving will make 100% new big bull run, but there is no good reason to say that it will not be the same as 2017. The only problem is in fact that we should wait maybe 2 years for this to happen, and I have no doubt that this will produce a large number of new skeptics and pessimists.

Well, for me, I personally do believe that even if the upcoming event which is the Bitcoin halving that will happen in the year 2020 will not trigger the bullrun, then at least there will be an improvement on the prices of the cryptocurrencies within the market so that all of our waiting will be all worth it for at least we have breath from a long hold. Well for me, I am just being positive that 2020 will gave us something to offer which I expect to be good despite of the current situation the market is into, the entrance of 2020 may lead us all into prosperity and end all of our sufferings from the recent years that the market has been down. I strongly believe that if the halving might not trigger the bull run, may at least an event would come into 2020 to boost the prices of the cryptocurrencies in the market to rise up into a desirable price as much as possible.
