Bitcoin was indeed dominating over other cryptocurrencies since the day it was born. It is why I think that in the next decade, there's a good chance that they will dominate once again because of the massive adoption of institutions, banks, etc., than any other cryptos out there.
I still regretted when I ignored Bitcoin years ago. You know how that feels, right? I mean, it's my fault that I didn't believe in Bitcoin because I didn't understand everything back then until I'm starting to get serious about it in 2017.
Hands down to Bitcoin as it outperforms any other asset like no other.
Nobody expected that this will happen to Bitcoin and crypto in general so no regrets must be felt here. Even me I don't feel any regret at this moment. I started learning crypto in the midst of the parabolic rise of Bitcoin last 2017 and I didn't know anything about it. You ignoring Bitcoin isn't regretful since you don't know what can happen to it in the future right
.
Well regarding to Bitcoin becoming the best asset of the decade, it became the best performing asset because of:
- its technology which is one of a kind (blockchain and cryptography)
- early investor which trusted Satoshi and Bitcoin.
- price volatility (if Bitcoin isn't volatile, it will not reach what it has reached right now).
Now we are in a new decade, I don't think that it will be the same story as last decade unless more and more investors will invest on Bitcoin making its price higher that where it is right now.
