Seems these two projects are the same or someone copied another one, I just couldn't get enough proofs, but if someone else has some time, they can look into it.

Project links

1. Unidollar ANN (Username: SpydrZero): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5255229.0.  [Flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2098]
2. Rain Network ANN (Username: kyleintheclouds): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5257430.0 [Flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2099]

These two projects have almost the same ideas and the same ANN styling. Even using the same staking Softwares. I found one mistake that they are using the same favicon at their both staking software websites.

I noticed that too (as you noticed). Both projects are just clear Ponzi nonsense in that they serve no functional purpose and they only exist so that holders can try to convince other to people to buy in at a higher price.

The both use the same smart contract (the only difference being the total supply), the same token exchange service (Uniswap), and comparing the websites I saw that they both use the same font scripts.

I'm pretty sure that kyleintheclouds (Rain dev) is the same person as SpydrZero (Unidollar dev) but couldn't find any blockchain evidence to link the two. Seems like he created a new account after burning his reputation as SpydrZero by dumping his Unidollar tokens, refusing to continue supporting the token swap liquidity engine with ETH, and abandoning the project.

Regardless of whether or not they are the same person (pretty sure they are), both projects are hot garbage and should avoided entirely.

Its seems to me as well both project operated by same team and that's why UNIDOLLAR hide the team members. Most likely even announcement thread also controlled by same user although there is two account. Probably they forgot to change favicon when they copy script from other platform. Connection is very clear and their concept is same & worst. I can't see any potential concept behind of these projects. Better to avoid and stay safe. To be honest they come with multiple projects because somehow they could raise funds.

Yes it looks to me that same creators are behind both of this websites.
Both domains are purchased in similar time and hosted on same hostinger hosting.

But what bothers us is that one of it MIGHT be the original and one might be just be a scammer duplicating other sites. There are a lot of possibilities not unless the original business shows its proof of authenticity or any proof of legitimacy. But in fact, most projects that wants to be invested are already scam. Legitimate process doesn't depend on online investors/donators, they get their capital and base money on banks, in which if they scammed them, jail awaits lol.

Yes it looks to me that same creators are behind both of this websites.

There are many what ifs in this kind of scenario. One can be an enemy of the other and duplicated its project. But most likely this kind of scenario it is kinda sure it's scam espcially having suspicious registration time and system's front-end and back-end similarities.

I just couldn't get enough proofs
There is more than enough proofs in this thread that both "projects" are ran buy the same "team".

Both are shitty tokens created to take money from people: buy some worthless tokens, stake them and get more worthless tokens which don't have real purpose. Also, if someone stake RAIN tokens here:

...every godlrain holder will get more worthless GDRN tokens, whatever that is.

As for staking UniDollar and their "game":

...it's coming soon. @OP Where are flags?

I thought if I get some solid proofs here, Than we can create flags. Its clear now those two projects are linked and managed by the same team so now I can create flags.

Also, I just looked SpydrZero user profile trust, where he got positive feedback by his newly created alt saying

^I supported flags and added negative tag, but honestly?

Hypothetically, I will create X token and I will say - buy it and stake it, you will get x.x% of it every day. I will create another token and I will say - buy Y token and if you stake X token, you will get x.x% of X and Y. Then I will create Z token and I will say - stake X and Y and you will get x.x% of Z's.

And altcoin is full of these kind of projects. You don't even have to compare projects to see what something really is, use logic[1]  Wink

[1]errr.. no team, no real use, no nothing, just buy and stake and wait and "get", and, and...it's just bloody website!

These project owners have good mathematical knowledge specially in 'Algebra" and in most cases their project ultimate result = scam. Scammers always left their foot print by mistake and this group of scammers have done the same thing.

Let me fill the blank space -> stake and wait and " get", and, and "wait until death"

They can't deny that every project needs to be unique so there will be no comparison in case there are similar sites that is not part of them that want to copy paste their project, in this case the similarity is very clear we can consider this same admin and same script and with the same people running the project.

~

Just few hours ago I've seen Insanerman used IP tracking (in his comment here: Re: Litecoin miner [ltcminer.com] - PONZI SCHEME) and learned the IP Checker (I don't know if it really works but it was worth a record), So I've tried tracking the two accused projects that has a seemingly (seems real with the information given) same team / developer:

unidollar.network
IP Address: 172.67.221.245
Geolocation: Mission Bay, San Francisco, California 94158, Estados Unidos

RAINNETWORK.ONLINE
IP Address: 185.199.108.153
Geolocation: IJ, Amsterdam, Netherlands

So basically I think they have used VPN for their domain application yet the funny thing is that it's too absurd having the same whitepaper and UI/UX webdesign.

Scam projects really can't afford professional web designers lol

They could, but then who would be your target audience? You wouldn't want to waste time making a whole new design when you can easily copy and paste the same thing, reducing your costs and only attracting people who didn't realize it's another throwaway shit-token.

Scammers usually follow the whole 'act like an idiot, attract all the idiots' principle in order to maximize success rates of getting useful marks and to minimize the amount of time they have to put in to go through with the scam. It's smart and very pragmatic, but of course what it means is that it's only the people who are ignorant of these scams are the ones getting burned. Hopefully, tough lessons help.

There will always people who are ignorant of these scam scheme, so these scam developers keeps targeting these scam people, these ignorant people are those who comes in or invest in Cryptocurrency the first and without knowing how to correctly do right research on every project that comes there way, so they become victims

That's not necessarily true. Sure, majority of scams are nothing but a quick money grab attempts, with minimum time, money and effort invested, and those scammers are often not much smarter than the "target audience" but every once in a while there is a scam attempt that plays long game, and really put some effort into appearing legit.

Regarding the question of possibility of the same team behind two projects, I would say that it is more of a rule than exception. Scammers usually don't give up after one scam attempt, they keep going on for some time.

They could, but then who would be your target audience? You wouldn't want to waste time making a whole new design when you can easily copy and paste the same thing, reducing your costs and only attracting people who didn't realize it's another throwaway shit-token.
Yeah you are completely right . They don't like to waste their valuable time and money for hiring designer where they can easily get new templates from marketplace. In some cases they prefer to use the old one just by changing fonts and colors. Actually they know that they will easily get some fools on their trap who don't care about team, whitepaper, roadmap and even the website similarities with old proven scam platforms.

There is an interesting similarity between this kinda scammers and the immature investors which is both of them want to make some easy money.

You can draw parallels between those you've mentioned and ponzi creators/supporters. It's the same strain of foolishness and hopelessly ignorant optimism that blinds people into these traps. Once a mark is hooked on a concept and they've invested any time into it, they will subsequently sling around post hoc justifications for their stupidity which only results in more losses.

I think, though, if someone were to do faux scams and return the money to the users in order to teach them the 'tough lesson' without the consequence of actual financial losses, that might help. Plus, it can act as scammer competition: with so many scams out there, once you start seeing the same things repeating, wouldn't you get much more suspicious about those 'huge money-making opportunities'? It could be argued that the loss of money makes the impact much more significant, but I don't see many people playing devil's advocate on this issue.
