Moving away 2019 and looking forward for 2020. A Bullish or Still a bear season?

It's really nice to see some good and professional analysis around with valid pointers but during the time I was an enthusiast of following charts and successfully gained knowledge about making analysis, reading chart lines and learn to make my own based on several indicators, damn, the volatility here in crypto is really too strong to handle and it can literally destroy even the majority of all professional analysis set on a given period. But still, that's my main reference.

I also feel the same. Back then, I always follow professional analysis and predictions by some of the experts. During the first quarter of 2018, there are lots of predictions backed by some good analysis that bitcoin price will experience bullish again at the end of that year, the same as what happened to prior years. All of those good predictions are crashed by what we called as now as 2018 bloodbath and no one anticipates that coming. Who can imagined that from around $20,000, the bitcoin price will fall to $3000?

From what I observed, people are speculating things based on the current price movement and not looking for a long term. For example, if bitcoin price will increase today from $6,900 to $8,000, it will now be called bull run but a few days later, it will go back again to $6,900 then it will now be called, bearish market and so on.

Although the price has doubled compared last year opening. It's obvious we are still at bearish and it's too early to say about bullish since we've just entered a new year and as you can see the price has dropped few hundred of bucks again. Determining on what way the price is heading is kinda hard to do even if you are an experienced trader. Just like last year, a lot has been predicted that a new ATH will be set but ended up upset and until the end of year they didn't see what they wanted to see.

let's hope that this year will be a better year than in 2019. If 2019 starts at $ 3k, then this year starts at $ 7k, it's just that it's currently down to $ 6k. however, if you look at the development of bitcoin beforehand, it's clear that this year has a higher potential. It's clear that 2019 is much better than 2018. In 2019 we saw the bull run of BTC, BTC increased by more than 150% until Q3 2019 and now the price has been adjusted to $ 7200. I appreciate this development of Bitcoin and certainly in 2020 the price of Bitcoin will reach a new ATH. In addition, I hope that there will be a huge pump to help altcoin revive, all altcoins in this market seem to have collapsed and we need something to help altcoin rise same as before

We were still optimistic despite the market for 2019 is not good compared to the last 2 years and the fact that we are still here, that shows how strong our faith in the crypto market is. Bitcoin has survive, it has fall and rise many times but it's still here, so it will not die since it was declared dead many times but they bounce back every time.

it;s like the market is design to move high and low and we should take all the opportunity to earn on that trend.

Buy the dip and sell the peak, we only differs on our target but we could all be profitable if we follow that simple principle.

I think for now too hurry if want to decide how market will be in 2020. Maybe people can see how market will goes  like in month before May because in halving we can decide after know bitcoin price will pump or dumped. Because 2020 still just 3 days and it is too early i think.

 It should be a tiny bit of bullish if you ask me, not a huge one like everyone imagines will be but a bit of bullish, just to give an example I am fully expecting this whole year to be between 10 and 15 thousand dollars, we will go up eventually to over 10k and will stay there for a while, have another increase towards 15k (maybe go over slightly) and than drop, and basically go up and down betweek 10-15 all the time until the new year comes, we had the same exact thing with 7 and 11 this year, went above to 13k levels for a while but if we take a look at what the avarages were 7-11 was the biggest avarage price, I expect this year to be same with 10-15.

I don't think we're in a bear market right now, but I guess a bear season within a longer bull market is an accurate description. Last market cycle after initially doing a double pump off the bottom the price cooled off and fell well off the peak and then went sideways for half a year. That's essentially the same thing that happened this time, but instead it did a triple pump and instead of a sharp spike and drop and then cooling off the market this time tried to keep the gains from that third move but it slowly fizzled its way down to around where the price was after the second move We're now at the 6 month period since the pumps, which is how long the it took last cycle for the market to do anything after that initial pump off the bottom. I'd bet in the next month or two we see the price take back $8k and $9k as it slowly starts heading up. Time will tell though!

2019 was a bull year, gained 100% from start to finish, as the long term bull market this cycle continues on I expect 2020 will be a better year than 2019 was. I think a 150%-200% gain is likely from start to finish. I don't expect any serious gains to start happening until next year as Bitcoin doesn't tend to go crazy until the year after the halving. Of course an incoming recession and stock market crash could impact Bitcoin in unforeseen ways (could be a positive or a negative for bitcoin, or neutral) as we haven't had those things since before Bitcoin was created.

Whether the ongoing year 2020 is bullish or bearish doesn't matter, always it is good to have hope and move forward. Just on thinking about the market condition of 2019 is not gonna get you anything. Price fluctuation is common with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but the immediate fluctuation by the new year start gave a negative impact on growth and now the trend change has taken place and things have come to the track on the bullish side.

Partly confident that we end up the bears season this year. I know it never be that easy and couldn't be instant but having optimistic to see huge changes as journey goes on. From my personal point of view the market wasn't be too bearish in 2019 the price reaching $13800 was quite remarkable despite the fact that that there is no underlying positive fundamental news that year however this year we an upcoming halving of bitcoin and looking forward to a bullish market if at the beginning of year the price could be traded above $7000 against last year price of $3300 then we would surely enjoy a possible pumping in the price of bitcoin this year.
