Paano ireport ang mga post na spam na iyon?

I just discovered interesting things on patrol page, so I updated the thread today.

Now, let me presenting what I discovered.

Beside the standard patrol page, that most of us know, at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol ⁽¹⁾
There is another 'hidden' patrol page, in which posts made in bounty threads disabled by default, at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol;nobounty ⁽²⁾. I knew about that page by @suchmoon or @Vod, and originally it was disclosed in Russian board.

Generally

• The (1) page is overwhelming spam posts, and there is no reason to find spam posts in bounty threads, with abundant proof of authentication or weekly report posts
• The (2) page is more helpful, but by default, there are still so many posts over many boards

So, what users can do if they want to limit posts in their interest boards, such as Altcoin Discussions?
There is solution, but users have to manually customize their patrol page. Here is a guide, given by @o_e_l_e_o

Patrol isn't really hidden. You can make a link to it appear at the top of each page immediately above the link to your Watchlist by going to Profile - Forum Profile Information - and checking the box titled "Show patrol link".

What is hidden is that you can customize the patrol link to view other recent posts. Patrol shows the last 200 posts by newbie accounts. If you delete ";patrol" from the link, so you are left with https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent, you will see the last 100 posts by all accounts. You can also customize this by adding ";boards=x,y,z" on to the end, where x, y, z (and so on) are the boards you are interested in. For example:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;boards=1 will show the last 100 posts in Bitcoin Discussion
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;boards=7,8,57 will show the last 100 posts in Economics, Speculation and Trading Discussion.

I'm not sure exactly how many recent newbie posts the forum keeps on file to populate this list from, but it's not a huge number (in the region of several hundred) I think, and since the vast majority of newbie posts are spamming the altcoin boards with bounty reports, then usually this will only show you a small handful of posts.

What users have to do (if they want to customize patrol page) are:
- Having a list of interest boards/ sub-boards and their identifying figures of those boards/sub-boards
- Bookmarking the customized patrol page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;boards=X
- Changing the X-value to their interest boards/ sub-boards at specific timepoints when they want to check spam posts.

Users can includes multiple boards/ sub-boards in the customized patrol page

Sa nakaraan mga buwan medyo lie low kasi daming mga gawain sa personal na buhay. If obvious kasing spam, off topic, madaling makita, so madaling ma aksyonan, compared sa report na nag hahanap ng fault sa nirereport, kahit napakaliit, most of the time nilalagpasan ng moderator pag ganun...

Tips:

Plagiarism: report the said post  and include the post na kinopyahan, not the post na nireport in a thread na plagiarism yung post...

Spam/off topic: state kung bakit nasabi niyong off topic or spam yung post, stating a "phrase" from the post na sa tingin niyo mas matimbang ang pagiging spam/off topic niya sa thread...

You can also report threads na nag iinvite lang ng spammers or can lead para mag post ang poster ng kahit anong pwede itype kahit di na pag isipan...

Ref spams are obvious, reporting it like "spam" " ref " is enough...

Case to case basis I guess. May na-report ako dati at mahaba yung explanation ko. Meron kasi iba na nag-spam ng parehong thread, yung tipong on topic parehong post pero wala ng dagdag na value. Ganito yung galawan, yung unang comment ay nasa first page at pangalawang comment ay nasa third page na pero parang first time pa lang niya mag-comment.

I had also missed the 'Your report history' link, but I've started to report spam from the Bitcoin Discussion topic 3 days ago (with nearly 0 report count that time). I haven't really paid attention for the number of the reports so close, so I can only guess that the magic number is somewhere around 300 reports, because today I'm over 300 and the 'Your report history' link has appeared. It's good to see which post were reported in vain...

Is this what you are looking for? Actually, most of the members who had at least 300 reports regardless of how good or bad it is can see their full report summary.

I think he is not referring to the default report summary upon clicking the Report to moderator button. Maybe he is referring to a summary if your report has been handled and rated as good or bad.

Ako sa patrol natingin at nirereport ko kung sa tingin ko ay spam. Usually ni rereport ko ay yung mga necro bumping lalo na newbie o brand new account na mukang robot.   Or yung mga newbie account na talagang obvious na nag shill sa kanilang website para makakuha ng clicks o traffic galing sa forum.

Ang tagal na nung huling post na nireport ko pero ito yung stats ko. Karamihan ng mga na i-report ko ay threads na hindi naka post sa tamang board, plagiarism at mga spam post na pang advertise marami nito dati sa Bitcoin Discussion. Para sa plagiarism ginagamit ko yung thread na ni link ni Baofeng. Nalilito kasi ako dun sa comment bar ng report to moderator.

Basahin mo yung mga examples dito ni Welsh na pwede mong ilagay sa comment better na naka bookmark siya if in case gusto mong magreport madali mong mahanap yung thread.

Don't be afraid na gamitin if you think it needs to be reported kasi the mods will investigate naman yang report mo, if it needs basis or proof better to find one or you can make a thread about it.
