It was a grave mistake by the US to kill Qasem Soleimani now, he was in the hit list for a very long time from the late 70s and none of the president wanted to take a direct action and it is because of followers he have and he helped maintain a balance in my opinion as he was a capable leader who is loved by many and you can see the funeral possession which is attended by millions.

Question is what is next. Does Iran have anyone to replace ​Soleimani in this fight. He was great organisers. Iran will definitively continue to fight, but how efficient they will be.

Esmail Ghaani is appointed as the replacement and he even has a history in warfare but his skills to group everyone is to be seen.

Yes he was fighting against the ISIS with the help of Shia militia groups and he had the skills as a commander while his opinions are followed by Hezbollah and Kurd groups.

I think that it can.
And possibly it will become stronger as it will sparkle a new hatred in their organizations due to the fact that they lost their leader. It is hard to eliminate them and by killing one person doesn't make any difference.

I don't think so! The defeat of ISIS was mostly due to the collaborative efforts of coalition forces spearheaded by USA excluding that of Iran's militias headed by the late Soleimani and even without their help, I think ISIS was already doomed to collapse.

The US did virtually nothing to fight ISIS on the ground.  All we did was bomb the shit out of small Sunni towns to disrupt ISIS' revenue while displacing ~20% of the Syrian population.  Sure we did some raids on high-ranking officials, but all of the ground work was carried out by Kurds and Iran-backed mliitias.   Sunnis in the Iraqi military indirectly refused to fight ISIS which is why they overran their positions until Iran intervened.  

Most of what the US did was indirectly back ISIS by supporting antigovernment, ISIS-neutral Sunni rebels in Northern Syria.  This spread the Syrian army too thin to effectively fight ISIS in the midst of a stalemate in places like Aleppo.  I think people underestimate the long-term consequences of our actions.
 There are tens of millions of Syrians and Iraqis who now have a rightful claim to lifelong hatred of the US.  Much morso than what existed pre 9/11.

If Iran starts concentrating on US forces and attacks on the US allies then definitely ISIS will be resurrected. Who knows, Iran may secretly start supporting ISIS in order to hurt US allies in the region.

ISIS is not a new idea at all. It's an ideology that Sunni are the real muslims and they should rule all over the world. It started as Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad lead by Al-Zarqawi.
Even Osama Bin Laden was not a fan of their ideology.
ISIS is extremist part of Islam and most of the Islamic people are not if favor of them. There are just a few terrorist nation that funds ISIS and It would not be destroyed until these governments change.

Gen sulemani was not fightining against ISIS but only againest enemies who are threatening Iran interest in the region. His death was not condemned by Sunni muslims in the region only Iran with his supporters.

The death of one man is irrelevant. It's not as if he had special magic powers and other who take his place are mere humans.
