I am still waiting and hoping for more businesses that would integrate cryptocurrency in their accepted payment already. This would happen more easily if transaction speed would be increased significantly and the fees would also be decreased significantly. This would encourage not just the businessmen to integrate crypto in their business but also the consumer to spend them in their purchases.

Others are still not into using yet as they are waiting for the time it will have a mass adoption it can be in bitcoin, fut for some alts that are really created as payment coin then we should really use it to let others know and be aware that something like this exist and this is much helpful than the traditional ways we know.

Mass adoption will not easily happen if the people owning Bitcoin cannot spend them in shopping centers, coffee shops, hotels, resorts, restaurants, and more commercial and business establishments.

Before altcoins came out as alternative cryptocurrencies to Bitcoin, Bitcoin was already there as an alternative currency to fiat. Bitcoin was created as a payment tool. Bitcoin should be used first in payment before considering altcoins.

Well it will be really hard for us to spend bitcoin oftenly to buy some stuff because the initial thinking of us is to invest it and not spend it because of the fear of losing some big opportunities when bitcoin pumps up. Well that is before but now bitcoin has a really big value so spending it or using it as a payment is like a wrong move for every crypto enthuasist so altcoins are really the best choice. Our individual efforts is what we need in order to close the gap between our vision and reality because if we will continue on waiting then were wasting time, make bitcoin and altcoins known to your friends and loveones and we'll see progress.

Personally, for me, the most anticipated implementation of the possibilities of blockchain technologies, and as TS said "next big thing in crypto" would be a decrease in the share of banks ' influence and an increasing use of blockchain in this area.

   I can't agree more with that statement. This is a big thing that we are waiting for, more people to abandon sinking bank system,
decreasing their share and influence, and on other side to increase the use of Blockchain in all areas. All thous this is not a big
thing that will happen one day, it's a slow process that can last for years. We need to be patient and wait for that!

and DeFi is already making that reality and, from where I sit.., definitely it is the next big development in crypto-area.

Honestly it is hard to give prediction. It is also hard to assume that this is the right time for bitcoin and eth. All we know that crypto price is always matter in all of us but always remember that we need an additional plan and option in case that it will not happen. actually what makes people buy more bitcoin doesn't exist yet. but we know some major updates will occur this year. from libra, bitcoin and the closest is ethereum. if the moment of renewal continues without negative news on the crypto market I think the demand for crypto could have increased from new people who began to trust and are curious about crypto assets.

Cryptocurrency have shown us a lot of potentials within a decade and a year of existence and have proven us a breakthrough within the usage of the modern technology to resolve problems we are facing in our society. Cryptocurrency have given us a lot of opportunities since then which also gives us hope and boosts up our confidence on doing crypto related works. It is very hard to predict, especially because there was nothing new in 2019, besides IEOs on big exchanges. I believe that the main focus will go to exchanges and exchanges tokens would be the upcoming trend in 2020;

The advent of Bitcoin's blockchain technology has opened up a world of possibilities that were never imagined. People can finally achieve financial freedom by being their own bank anytime, anywhere. In 2017, there was the ICO boom where crypto land was filled with hype with many companies launching their own business ventures. But ever since prices started to decline back in 2018, there has been a lost of interest into crypto and Blockchain tech from people in the mainstream world.

The space is definitely maturing, but the level of demand is still a lot less than it was back in 2017.

We do not need to find next big thing. Blockchain is already the revolutionary technology for digital finances, digital identity and digital property and what is the best? The technology is decentralized and immutable. We do not need to apply blockchain technology for everything as many startups think.

So how do you make your friends and loved ones know Bitcoin? Do you just tell them that Bitcoin is a form of store of value or an investment opportunity? Do you only tell them that Bitcoin is going to be more and more expensive someday that you need to buy them today and keep them without spending a bit? I guess that is how the majority of the people treat Bitcoin. In that way, Bitcoin, which was originally made as a form of currency, as a payment method, is slowly dying.

I have been waiting for the arrival of 2020 because by 2020 Bitcoin has been reduced on the block as you said and Bitcoin supply will also reach its peak, maybe I think whether this year the price will be fantastic or even no good Movement considering the prices in 2019 tend to be stable at certain level.

In my opinion, the interest of the public in cryptocurrency around the year 2017 was majorly because of the swift increase in value of the coin market cap. So far the initial signals are good. Till now, Bitcoin has gained some 10% as far as the exchange rates against USD is concerned. Bank is the institution and blockchain is a core system and i can call that as a protocol that has already created to made the system will be more effective and efficient. There is no reason to erase the bank because blockchain will also be used on the bank too. I don't think that will happen soon.

I learnt that there's underground work ongoing to launch the ethereum 2.0 project this year. The bitcoin halving is also expected to be in motion and I'm of the opinion that this events would affect the overall performance of the market. The launching of libra coin could also happen this year marking this year, possibly more promising than last year.

The crypto backed by the gov't or by the banks. The known CBDC or Central Bank Digital Currency.
This is now the main thing in China lately and I think US and other powerful countries will also follow the trend for this. Once this has already been implemented in China and it's being used by most citizens, I think most of the countries that are looking into cryptocurrency will start to follow that path.

You have a good point for that opinion my dear. But their plans are only for their country? What will happen on decentralize? or it will became a semi-decentralize because its all by controlled of the government. And some other fans will also follow them, That will only a federal style.

Off course there are lots of events on the table in 2020. Bitcoin halving and ethereum adopting PoS into its blockchain are some of the exciting events related to cryptocurrency. What is interesting is that only bitcoin and ethereum will increase in value and will do good in the market. Nowadays people are losing their interest in almost all coins other than bitcoin, ethereum and BNB.
