The rate of desperation in the cryptocurrency industry is really hitting the roof.

I decided to take this medium to enlighten users to protect themselves and their assets against a new scam in town.

A guy by name "Allen Stanley" messaged me on telegram.
He said he wants us to make money together.
I told him to go on, he said he works with Betxloot.com,a crypto betting site.

He said he could make anyone he likes to win the bet, that he can proof it if I want, but I had to create an account on the above site and bet with at least $70.

He said he would have done it himself, but the team already knew him and his wallet address, so he wanted to make another person win and share in the winning 50/50.

I told him I didn't have such money, so he insulted me, after which I told him to bring the $70 for the betting, then he will take 60% if he makes me win.

He told me to give him my username on the site, which I did, immediately he sent $70 to my dashboard.
He told me to place a bet, which I did, when the bet which lasts about 2mins was up, he made me a winner.

I won $4998, he dropped his btc address and told me to withdraw and then send his 50%, to me it was too good to be true.

So I attempted to withdraw to my btc wallet, and a message popped up, it read "because it's a new account, your assets are frozen, you will have to deposit about $100 - $170 to unfreeze your account.

When I showed him a screenshot, he pretended as though it was random, he started persuading me to deposit $100 to unfreeze the account,so I could withdraw the huge sum I had won.

I believe by now you too have come to understand that it is a scam site, Allen Stanley is working to get people deposit $100 to get a winning that is not real.

Even other members of the platform were chatting of a game that doesn't exist, making it seem like a normal activity, which we already know they are all part of this scam group.

Please do not fall for this new scam betxloot.com, they might want to entice you with huge winnings, but a they want us your btc, don't give in.

It's becoming too rampant, the telegram name doesn't matter anymore, as they can easily create a new account.

Another messaged me some mins. after I dropped this topic.

The main point is that we a need to be on the look out, this is a new wind, don't fall into it.

That was indeed a tricky one, I would fall into that kind of scam to be honest since it was made perfectly for fraud purposes. It is a great help for many who are fond of joining gambling sites. This should already be a lesson learned for many and a wake up call that scams anywhere you go does exist and are still active, patiently waiting for their next victim. Don't fall into any clickbait made and start questioning everything that a stranger says to you so that you would not experience great loss of money.

There were already many cases of scammers using telegram to trap people. I got many times about a message offering to earn money with Bitcoin. But I just ignored all, reported the message, and blocked the user. Remember, no people will share you some money only in an instant way. It doesn't make sense for sure. Let's think smarter to avoid scammer who wants to steal your Bitcoin.

Yes you are right! This is a detailed long post but it has sense and informative. You know what I've been a victim of scammer here in crypto world and also outside the crypto world. Nowadays crimes can occur everywhere in the real world or even here in the virtual world so we have to be alert, smart and be ready because who knows if the one we are talking to right now is a scammer or even one of our friends whom we met here in the crypto world just bear in mind that awareness is what we need today in order to avoid those bad people.

Thank you for sharing this, i appreciate your honesty.
In my country we cannot install telegram, because telegram was been blocked by our goverment.
But, i think this scam will not only on telegram, they will using other app or website such as facebook, line, etc.
We must beware about new person who contact us, it does not make sense when new person want help us to get more money.
Someone who know the best profitable things usually don't want to share it, they just want to earn it themselves.

That's was too obvious surely it was just another scammer in telegram messaging random people with his useless offer hoping to scam someone or a newbie that hoping to gain a profit.
Don't fall in this one quickly report the account and block it thanks for sharing it in the forum that would help a lot of users here.

The rate of desperation in the cryptocurrency industry is really hitting the roof.

Please do not fall for this new scam betxloot.com, they might want to entice you with huge winnings, but a they want us your btc, don't give in.
This kind of scammer is very popular to newbie, they said you get hundred dollars in some website but you need to deposit to active your account blah blah... Therefore, most of service that ask you to deposit to active account/ achive some gifts are scam!

It's easy to know if this person scammers first of all he can create another wallet address to another exchange wallet like coinbase, coinomi  electrum and many more.
And also you can easily recognize if you are talking to scammers because in the first place Betxloot.com are not popular betting site. I hope that will serve as a lesson for you,  And also learn from that.

Ignore people suddenly DM you especially on Telegram
And aslo review first the website because you will easly know if that are scam because of the reviews of first users.

Watch out for people returning from DM from Telegram. Corporate firms do not do this. Also beware of people who promise huge profits in a short time. Bitcoin is a good investment tool. However, it is not easy to get immediate earnings.

One of the first things that newbies should learn is that there's no free money in crypto, you have to work to earn it, it's not early days when you could get money from faucets, airdrops and easy bounties.  No one will approach you with a genuine opportunity to earn money, if it was real they'd do it themselves. Fiat world is full of scams too, but its worse with crypto because there's zero chance to find the criminals or take your money back.

all these scam methods keep coming down to how greedy their targets are. that is how they feed off of them. they throw big numbers at the victims and pretend to be these experts who can magically make money while not having any money of their own to invest and need the victim's money!
most of their techniques are way too obvious but only if people aren't already blinded by their greed.

There is a FOMO brewing...

~snip~

Nothing new! since this is just the same on those scam modus on where a certain person wants for you to withdraw his exchange funds which would be transferred into your particular account and when
the funds is already on your account and you asked some withdrawal it would pop out some alerts or notification that you would need to deposit before you can able to withdraw the amount which is a total
bullshit if you think on carefully. Its a total scam attempt where they do force you to deposit.

I am not sure whether this is perfectly fit for scam accusations bored but I believe everyone should aware of this kind of scams and we should not believe the telegram messages and direct personal message on this bitcointalk board as well.
we need to analyse the project and trustworthiness of the person who ever contact you.

These scams indeed are working because of a lot of people who cannot
control themselves and their rush to earn as much as they can and as
quickly as possible.

If its too good to be true its most likely a hoax.

Well done to the OP for not falling for the trap and thanks for posting.

I am not sure whether this is perfectly fit for scam accusations bored but I believe everyone should aware of this kind of scams and we should not believe the telegram messages and direct personal message on this bitcointalk board as well.
we need to analyse the project and trustworthiness of the person who ever contact you.
It is already obvious, you can check the site out yourself to determine whether it's scam or not.

They are looking for people who can't control themselves when the see huge money proof, and then can do anything afterwards, to get it.

I only shared this so a lot of newbies and users can learn to overcome this.

To prove it, another contacted me this afternoon for exact same thing, that isn't a coincidence.
When I accused him of scam, he deleted the whole account.
