I can't believe they actually increased the transaction count to 4 times, however I am pretty sure this is still valid until eth is used for something that is marvelous like the 2017 peak times. If you remember back in the dapp days and that cryptokitty or whatever name it was times you will remember that transactions were clogged like hell and it was horrible times and you had to both wait more and spend more etc etc etc.

So, basically this increase is saying "our regular cliche day is better now"  but it is no "code red alert" day at all. They can go for staking right now if they want to and have no problem at all on normal days but if there is another dapp that is superbly wanted by people, they will once again have a lot of trouble as well and this time would be harder because it is staking.

That will always be a speculation TPS but that will not represent how much real TPS that can be gotten by ethereum after such hardfork. Remember recently the ethereum research developer has called more delay to implement the scalability upgrade to the ethereum as it's not so important. So many blockchain platforms just like TRON, EOS and many more didn't publish the actual value about how much TPS that can be achieved by their protocols.
it's not an important thing the needs to be putted as priority. it's better to focus on POS rather than scalability as the ethereum network is not getting clogged again.

We all do change our mind as market situation. If you do hate that's the problem, suppose you hate Ethereum, you can't earn from it. When Ethereum fall down to 80 USD so many people hated Ethereum. Another two hardfork is waiting for this year.

These upgrades will benefit both eth network and eth value over long term, these upgrades just give a sense of satisfaction to the community and supporters of eth that the development is going in right direction and scalability issue will resolve soon, i think eth has been undervalued for over an year now and i strongly think that eth deserves a price over 1k and i am sure it will reach there soon.

Eth today wasn't forked as far as I know, there were talks about Istanbul being cancelled. I don't know if its really true but if it would make ETH transactions to be faster to solve scalability I'm sure by the sheer number of altcoins under its wings ETH will still go up even though its on POS algo.

We don't really know what will be the future of Ethereum after that POS.
Yes, you will find a lot of negative feedback just because it a POS.
But, I am also trying to be positive with this.
Besides, there is not much movement with Ethereum by now.

During the bear market, you had ETH under 0.018 BTC which is way below its long term mean given its fundamentals. I think that the reason why it's having such a big bull run even outpacing BTC right now is making up for previous irrational dumps that had its value so low.

Don't need to dissuade to anyone. Before Binance blockchain, Binance coin did a bullrun and become favorite coin of some people and now some people don't like Binance. We know before Ethereum 2.0 news, Ethereum price could reach the highest value.
