Bounty campaign with logic allocation, i think bounty campaign allocation usually only take very little percent from total supply of the coin. To promote i think bounty still worth to do and maybe do some contest to see more efforts from participants of your project. But at first, make sure your coin/ project really worth to joined.

We have new approach for advertising and OP could consider social mining like what Elrond and 2key had done and by far it's successful. It's quality over quantity hence only hard work will be pays off.

I can't find any ways to promote, distribute and sell new project coin, if project hasn't good or legit. We know some project that will definitely success, how do we know? Only reason is project good. Scam project and low concepts project can't run IEO in top top exchange.

Bounty campaigns and advertisements on several websites are a great way to promote a project. But, for the time being I find it difficult to attract investors to invest if we do not have a good product or arguably a product with good innovation and how the plans drawn up by the team behind the project will determine investors' desire to join a project.

if promoting the hype project in bitcointalk I think is a very serious violation because hype is a project that makes a lot of people lose, so it's better to promote coins or tokens that have very clear prospects you can usually see from the whitepaper they provide and don't get caught on the project hype.

Start with an ANN thread in bitcointalk. Free and will generate some attention at the very least.

If you are serious about the token, then go for paid advertisements or press releases on the major altcoin news sites.

it seems like now that is being followed by many people is airdrop and referral contest as you said. A great way to develop markets and communities. but everything that happens quickly can disappear quickly too. be careful with non-paying airdrop projects and scams. If your project is invested by many large companies, you should choose and negotiate with major exchanges to implement IEO. It is the best way for you to distribute and promote your project. But if your project has few priavte sale investors and no partners then you should choose bounty to promote your project. But nowadays this promote method is not feasible and most projects have failed
