At this rate I think the general market has to make some sort of changes to itself in order to keep going up. It is not really sustainable for crypto to go up and down constantly because it is making some people money but losing some people money so it can't continue forever, it sure has been doing that for years now and we have seen nothing profitable in the short term and not long term.

Hopefully, we will build more and more infrastructure for bitcoin, we need a lot more companies, a lot more business and a lot more adoption so that when we go up, it will not go down that easily since there are way too many people involved which will do their best not to let it go down. So that is what we need, more money involved by more people that will keep the price higher.

People think this year is the best year for Ethereum because this year Ethereum will release their latest version, Ethereum 2.0. But I don't think the release of Ethereum 2.0 will have an impact on increasing the price of ETH. Today, all Altcoin has fallen, including ETH.

That's because Bitcoin has decreased in price lately. As long as Bitcoin is down in price across the market, so will Ethereum and other altcoins. But I believe that the PoS upgrade will trigger a short boost in ETH's price, even if Bitcoin's prices are "in the red". Since PoS will encourage people to hoard more ETH than they'll ever sell, prices per coin in the long term could become higher than you've imagined. This year could become a biggest one for ETH yet, if the PoS upgrade takes place and Bitcoin halves its block reward at the same time. I believe that businesses and companies will launch their STOs on the ETH blockchain right after it becomes scalable for the whole world to enjoy (with PoS and Sharding). Even if the excitement takes much longer than we've thought, I'm confident that Ethereum will see bright days ahead of it. After all, it's one of the most actively developed and maintained Blockchain platforms in the world. With Vitalik Buterin at its side, Ethereum will become a resilient smart contract platform that focuses on decentralization and efficiency unlike any other alternative today.

Nonetheless, the price per ETH is still low these days. If the Bitcoin halving and ETH's PoS upgrade take place this year, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap might get past $400 per coin. But this is just speculation since no knows what exactly will happen with ETH or any other crypto in the future. The best we could do is keep watch of ETH's (and crypto land's) latest developments in order to determine when is the right time to buy and when is the right time to sell. I'm confident that Ethereum will rise towards "infinity and beyond" given that it's the platform with the most number of dApps in the Blockchain space. Even though its competitors are faster and cheaper to use, they're not as widely adopted and supported as Ethereum is. Sooner or later, Ethereum will experience increased demand from people in the mainstream world resulting in higher prices across the market. Just my thoughts

Agree. It may take a long time before ETH hits a new ATH across the crypto market. But rest assured that the BTC halving combined with ETH's PoS upgrade will produce a slight increase in price for the world's second-largest cryptocurrency in market cap. This is more of a long-term investment than anything else. If devs decide to delay the PoS upgrade further, then I believe this is year will be quite a disappointing one for avid crypto investors and enthusiasts. After all, ETH's competitors are way ahead of the game. ETH may be decentralized and censorship-resistant, but mainstream businesses and companies are looking for scalable blockchain platforms than anything else. Delaying the upgrade this year will only make matters worse for the mainstream adoption of Ethereum.

Maybe dApp developers will decide to switch to another chain if they find Ethereum too expensive and slow to deal with? Whatever happens, it won't be good for the mainstream adoption of the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap.

Nonetheless, I have high hopes that this year will become the biggest one for ETH yet. As the market pressures, the ETH dev team will have no choice but to make ETH more scalable for the whole world to enjoy. The more interesting part of all this is Bitcoin's halving. Once that happens, ETH and other cryptocurrencies' price across the market will soar like never before. You're somehow right about been pessimistic because the infinite total supply implemented by the ETH team could somehow hinder the rice of Ethereum to reach a new ATH but if bitcoin claim a new ATH Ethereum will do the same because it always follow the trend of bitcoin market during rally and the crypto community strongly believe in the coin either.

I think this year the price of Ethereum will only increase to a maximum of $700 because this is a price that can be achieved if the altcoin season comes back. In fact, very few old coins can reach the new ATH because in the past these coins had beenpumped high so very few investors would choose to invest. This year I will still encourage people to look for new investment options because those are investments that can make you more profitable than investing in old coins.

Well, ETH has been off to a slow start this year. Rest assured, that if developers decide to adopt PoS by July 2020 (coinciding with Ethereum's 5th anniversary), prices could quickly soar across the crypto market. This, alongside Bitcoin's halving event in May will trigger a "FOMO" sentiment for both BTC and ETH among people in the mainstream world. We cannot know for certain how ETH will behave on the market since crypto prices are truly unpredictable. Look Eth has started to grow now they will soon touch $ 250 less $ 6 from now I think if expecting ETH 2.0 is too long now it is also more stable without having to wait for the release, I think it will continue to move according to what is happening in the market the bullish trend has come but at this time ETH has the opportunity to rise in short time.
