Experiment , generate more bitcoin by buying TOP 10 alt-coins 2020.

Finally i have made a decision to do this experiment generating more Bitcoins by buying shitcoins . About which i was talking on my video on YouTube in march 2019. So basically my plan was to buy some alt-coins with Bitcoin and in that way generate more Bitcoins. I have made this decision because most of the alt-coins has reached lowest points against BTC in my opinion. And proving by history they usually bounce of it. Another big reason is that Bitcoin halving is due in May 2020. This could spike up Bitcoin price and alt-coins could possible dragged with it. I cannot guarantee i will succeed but i will do an update every month or quarter on YouTube channel how am im doing with this chosen portfolio. I have a good feeling i will succeed, as i am not Bitcoin maximal and shit-coin minimalist. I am quite good at recognizing innovation. Few of my purchased coins potentially could do much better then Bitcoin price in nearest future.

So the plan is to spend 2 BTC and buy 10 alt-coins. 0.2 Bitcoin each alt-coin. I am using binance to purchase these coins and i will add them in my portfolio tracker https://www.cryptocompare.com/portfolio/ . This place is very nice where to track your crypto portfolio from desktop. I do believe 99% alt-coins are scam and will fail in future, but there also will be some who will survive. The reason i think im going to succeed is not only that these projects are useful. But i only need 1 alt-coin to do 10x in bull market against btc and the rest can fail to brake even.

My top 10 alt-coins purchased and the reasons behind it :

Ethereum - By dapp platform stats Ethereum is winning every other gen2-gen3 blockchains which are Tron,Eos etc in every aspect. Built Dapps, new users,existing users,volume and so on. Users and developers are the main key for s block-chain project to succeed. Ethereum has issues yes, there is not much room to grow. But there is constant development going on to increase platforms usability. Another thing is DeFi (decentralized finance) which got very popular in 2019 . Which basically brings banking to block-chain. This new turn on Ethereum is gaining momentum and growing every day. This will be huge in my opinion in 2020.

Chainlink - Chainlink is something unique. Currently Block-chains smart contracts cannot record data on them from outside world, they can do only on chain data. Which is timestamps,block numbers, transaction value. On their own they cannot listen to outside world which is called of chain data. But Chainlink fixes this issue, feeding this information trough decentralized oracles to smart contracts. It really made this utility token very popular in 2019, because of their massive partnership with google cloud. And on top of that they already have working product and it is been used by numerous crypto projects. It currently is looking the biggest contender to fix this issue what block chains has.

Basic attention token ( BAT) - is solving Advertisers and Content creators as myself problem ,what we have currently. For example Google collects about 40-50% add revenue from YouTube adds. Basic attention token ( BAT) solves this issue with their Brave browser. Brave browser allows you to tip your favorite content creators and block companies which collects your privacy data. So how does it work , Advertiser purchases advertisement with BAT tokens which goes to users and content creators. You actually are getting paid to watch adds. So it disables the middle man like google in this case who is taking 50% cut. Technically if Brave browser platform grows, price should increase.
Monero - Monero is a privacy coin. I do believe that privacy coins will be very demanded in future. As block-chains are getting bigger and bigger adoption, eventually governments will crack down on them. And will develop software which will allow them to trace and get user privacy data. This could happen already this year, as recent statements from EU leaders are they need more regulation on Crypto and block-chain. Monero is one of the oldest privacy coin out there. And these events around possibly could spike up Monero price. I don't want to hype it to much, but privacy was one of the main feature why Bitcoin was invented.
Neo - neo is 3rd generation blockchain similar as Ethereum. Neo comes out of China, which is one of the main reasons why im choosing this smart contract platform. Recent statement from Chinese president Xi Jinping that they have to adopt block-chain technology  in their country. This statement made me very bullish on NEO. 3rd generation block-chain platforms really will kick of in 2020, just because the possibilities can be developed on them. I don't really think yet we have figured out what can be deployed on these platforms. We can see that as time goes by, new things are been figured out like DeFi, games, fundraising and many more. Also the price on NEO has drooped about 20x since all time high. And recent volume has been growing on NEO platform. So fingers cross, Neo going to bring us honey.

I have gone trough these projects social media channels and looked how active is the community. GitHub, is there any active development on their platform. Also is there any fundamentals and working product behind it. These are the main reasons i have picked these coins for my challenge. This is not any financial advice, i'm just looking to do a challenge/research. Is this a way to increase bitcoin in bull market by buying alt-coins. I'm playing this safe and choosing the coins from top 50 in coin-market cup. Because i do believe if coin is valuable it should at-least have some value in bear market.

As the economic slowdown appears in China, more people would be selling them to have a dinner. NEO makes an instant failure in my analysis. Many exchanges too would suffer and hence, Chinese exchanges tokes too would be a bad choice.

I agree that these alts are good but i think there are many under rated projects that are just hidden under the cover due to elongated bears but i think they will easily make 50 to 100x in next bull run. Some of such projects in my opinion include power ledger, wepower, amon card, Atlant ATL, Utrust and SNX.

Because of this, inexperienced investors could easily be lulled into investing in a low-cap sh*tcoin just because it apparently has a good concept, despite there being no development or spine to the project.

As such, I would actually recommend that newbie investors don't take their financial matters into their own hands. If you're not experienced, don't enter a game where experience is key—it's as simple as that.

With that said, I recommend that new, inexperienced or trigger-happy traders look for an experience crypto finance manager, who can help grow your portfolio without doing the work.

Yes most of the shitcoins is used just for speculation, no real value. I think smart contract platforms will do quite well in 2020, its hard to predict which one of them will do the best. My biggest bet is Ethereum if they succeed with network upgrade as they have the most development going on. DeFi is crazy almost 3%eth locked up in DeFi projects.

I do not really like investing in alt coins since some of them doesn't really give a good amount of profit at all. If I am going to invest, I would probably go to those altcoin that is on the rank because that is trusted by so many investors and I know that if its price dumps, it can easily recover because of the fact that it has so many consumers.

This method will work in bull market, but not in the market where we are now. When Bitcoin falls, altcoin fall more. When Bitcoin grows, altcoin grow more. And this is the reason why this strategy could work and will cumulate you more Bitcoins.

All Top 100 CMC are great to Swing Trade them to make your BTC (Sats) even more, because after all only the king remains the king.

And you did what you think it will work in the future. But I hope you already research and analyze each coin before you buy, and not just to see activity because we don't know which coin that will work best for us and give the biggest profit. I think you came to the right time to invest in all of the coins you bought because right now, all coins are at the lowest price and will increase soon if the bull run comes.

You have really done well , like you said it's an experiment, we also await the results. Having done your homework, it's good to take the risk but those funds are too much to make a risk with. You can review that if you are not willing to lose it if things goes other ways .

And right now some altcoins are overperformed ethereum. I agree about the bitcoin as the main consideration but i will not put the rest into the ethereum. When some people are still considering altcoins as shitcoins but others who were buying it at the bottom price has already made a decent profit. Even the biggest scam coin like BSV gets more than 100% increase in a day and i can't even believe it. BAT is a good coin but it's not so good as another coin which was generated from bitcoin today like bitcoin fork coins.
A wild pump is around us.

I would probably look more on the IOTA/XMR side than something like NEO.

XMR is one of the long term holds that you just keep in your portfolio and somewhat forget about it, because it's provided stability but not a lot of volatility in the short term which may be what you're seeking. So if you're expecting short term profits, definitely don't go with XMR. XMR is a long term hedge.

IOTA could potentially shoot through the roof in the context of a potential bull market because of the fact that its market cap is surprisingly small compared to when it first started out and its volume is very low. It has very good fundamentals as well imo with scalability and no fees in mind, but its success depends on the tangle's reliability.

NEO hasn't really performed that much, nor has it really innovated. So that's a no go for me.

everyone has a different investment strategy. and one of the crypto investment strategies is to buy some of the top altcoins to increase profits. because sometimes when bitcoin goes up, most altcoins will also go up. and usually the percentage increase in altcoin is greater than bitcoin. so that if we really do altcoin we will also get a large profit. I also do this. I hold some of the top altcoins like Litecoin and Ethereum.

Could be a cool year for that experiment. But you are just basically holding them? Not trying to sell the tops and buy dips or anything like that? And are you selling them exactly after year or hodling indefinetely?

You are right, lookalike the crypto market is still dependent on Bitcoin. If this increases all other altcoins loud their sounds if BTC drops they massively fall down. I personally feel that Tron will be a good investment for 2020 because they are undervalued and they could be next ETH if it gets proper support from the community. Those who invest in Tron has the possibility of getting a higher return on investment due to its negligible price as of now.

Probably you should have come up with a better title since generate more bitcoin is itself a favorite scam title like from those ponzi hyips or bitcoin doublers.

I think more bitcoin by buying more altcoin is risky and totally not recommended for newbies or even for experienced people. You can never tell with altcoins.

Good point OP i agree with you 100%, many altcoins lose 90 percent of value already, buying them now will bring huge profits and it's a good move to divert the money back into bitcoin, this is better than buying altcoins with very low volumes on exchanges
