Well, in fact, it is considerably a free advertisement to see celebrities using bitcoin even in just the mainstream media or social media platforms, what more it could be if they also show utilization of bitcoin and cryptocurrency to movies and tv series. This will in fact impart a great adoption for people to start wondering what bitcoin is, how to use it, and why it is the future of our currency for these days.
But for now, we might not know, maybe they are already utilizing bitcoin but without its clue on the mainstream media platforms.

their influence will be stronger if it is from a personal attitude without the support of any party. Some of what I have seen so far, many celebrities are only involved with ico or the emergence of a new altcoin, their attitude they are still commercially connected from other parties. on the other hand, I am sure they are also worried if they reveal their personal attitude to use bitcoin and are then blamed for obscuring their true assets in tax obligations.

Do you think celebrities in the mainstream world are still using Bitcoin for their own benefit?
In my evil perspective, Maybe, bitcoin is a mainstream thing in their circle. They take benefits from bitcoin, but in a bad way. For example, to avoid tax in their country. Well, maybe they can get payment separetely, for example 70 fiat : 30 btc. Who knows? I dont have any data (from internet) about this. This is just my “what if” opinion.

On the other side, some celebrities are afraid to damage their image. So it would be hard for them to advertise Bitcoin to the public when there's a lot of risk and scam that they can encounter. You know some fans just really follow their idols even if they don't know what it is. So if others got scammed they can blame that celebrity because he/she promoted it. And also, when a famous person promotes Bitcoin, scammers can use his name to scam people... Maybe some celebrities are just afraid to tell the public but maybe, they're also using Bitcoin without telling the public.

You're right, I think Manny Pacquiao is enough to make a huge demand and everyone will easily adopt bitcoin or altcoins. if one of the biggest one will support crypto for mainstream then everyone will not give it a doubt because they trusted that one and Manny Pacquiao is a trusted one not just in our country but in the whole world. everyone will take a huge benefits not just the celebrities, who support crypto.

It's been 11 years since Bitcoin's inception, where it has become an extremely popular cryptocurrency used by people worldwide. Many governments, central banks, and even mainstream businesses and companies have become interested in grasping the benefits provided by Bitcoin's Blockchain technology. As a result, we've seen many positive comments from popular figures like John McAfee, Elon Musk, and even Jack Dorsey talking about Bitcoin. However, only a few seem to use it in their daily lives. Imagine someone famous within the mainstream world showing him/herself using Bitcoin in a Hollywood movie or even in public. We may be still far from seeing this become a reality as Bitcoin is still not scalable for the world yet (the Lightning Network is under active development). Maybe after micropayments become viral on the LN, we'll be able to see more celebrities using Bitcoin in public? Average people in the mainstream world would surely use Bitcoin for their daily lives if they see someone famous patronizing the cryptocurrency. Do you think celebrities in the mainstream world are still using Bitcoin for their own benefit? If so, which famous people are deeply into Bitcoin right now? I'd love to see someone like Keanu Reeves, Microsoft's Satya Nadella, or even Apple's Tim Cook using (and patronizing) Bitcoin someday. At such degree, I think Bitcoin would've reached massive adoption within the mainstream world. Thoughts? Why are people so concern about celebrities using bitcoin? A lot of these people do not understand what bitcoin is and it's purpose in the financial ecosystem. All they see is an asset that will make them huge profit. These people will not add any significant improvement into the bitcoin market and ecosystem.

In my country many artists also use bitcoin. And of course Manny Pacquiao is here with his own crypto currency and this is the Pac token. Senator Manny Pacquiao is also a part of GCOX, but I don't know much about it so please take a look here. https://ph.linkedin.com/company/gcox-officialis that the PacToken that has been released last year with IEO?i have read that this is a celebrity coin. I think that really big people from IT whom using crypto will be great promotion for industry
they have been here from the start but they are not celebrity as well,we need more promotion from prominent and famous people like those Celebrity in Movies and Politics.

It is not impossible that some celebrities will be using Bitcoin now considering that bitcoin is very popular. In fact, in our area I know a celebrity who has been using bitcoin and he open confirmed it and he even accept bitcoin payment in one of his restaurants just to promote bitcoin and to spread word about bitcoin. Celebrities can also be investors but maybe they don’t publicize it because they could be a target of criticism or rumors made by those people who would want to destroy bitcoin.

Eh, maybe I'm giving too much credit to the average person, but I don't think they'd be influenced enough to go out and buy bitcoin based on a celebrity endorsement. Some people might, of course. There are people who refuse to get their kids vaccinated because certain celebrities keep spouting ignorant nonsense about junk science, but they don't represent the majority and I doubt any celebrity endorsement of bitcoin would have much of an effect on adoption or price. I'd still love to see a mainstream movie with bitcoin as a major plot point (or even a good indie flick). I know there are some foreign films that at least mention it, but thus far there haven't been any big Hollywood productions that involve bitcoin in the storyline. I think something like that would have more influence than a celebrity testifying to how great bitcoin is and what it can be used for.

Only with country have make bitcoin become legal transaction and celebrities wanna promote bitcoin as legal currency payment transaction and become most safety investment assets, many countries not allowed bitcoin become legal transaction and many celebrities not brave for promoting bitcoin to the public.
It is really a great thing if those personalities and celebrities will promote the virtual currency. Because for sure they can encourage more people without using flowery words but only through their titles. We all know that thise artist and celebrities will easily caught the people's interest because of their fame. The people will tend to be easy to believe if there is someone who has been known by many people and we can call them as public figure. Everything they do will be easily imitated by many people although that is hard thing to imitate. At least they give an information about bitcoin and tell how to use it then I will believe there will be many people who curious against it. Moreover, if he try to educate many people to know bitcoin deeply such as there is an agency who socialize about bitcoin. This thing will be visited by many people, especially fans of him. Even it will be good comparing he just promoted about bitcoin but he doesn't give any information about it.

Hey I am really not sure about Bitcoins but am sure that they are using cryptocurrencies for sure , they are exchanging cryptocurrencies too sometimes like that one time on Ellen show the donation was made in a Cryptocurrency which was indeed a very new concept at that time. Celebs may use it to hide their total stock and make secret transactions who know ? But that's for sure that they are using it and some might be vocal where as some might not be , who knows.

I remember an episode of the Big bang theory show where all main characters were searching for their forgotten bitcoins after they found out how much it costs nowadays. That's just a comedy show about nerds and kinda for nerds and I even doubt that actors of the BBT started to use bitcoins after that. Recently I commented a thread about Kardashians and bitcoins. They are really great influencers today, but I doubt they use crypto, too much money and attention without that.

I think the reason why people are concerned about celebrities who uses bitcoin because they are happy that more people are started to know about cryptocurrency like bitcoin. I think you are wrong these people will really add a great improvement to bitcoin's price when they started to buy a huge amount of bitcoin. Celebrities are often taken as role model by the people. People take inspirations from them and happily follow the activities and works they do. Knowing that your favorite celebrity is also investing in crypto market will attract you toward this market also. I think this will benefit the whole crypto market in two ways, firstly more and more people will come forward to invest in this market by following their favorite person’s footsteps. Secondly, the huge amount of investments made by the celebrities in this market will bring good results.

There are actually lot of celebrities who are using cryptocurrencies, like famous football player Lionel Messi and a famous rapper Snoop Dogg and also a CEO of one company named Bill Gates and also a famous boxer and a legend Manny Pacquiao. I can say that they have buy or invested such a good amount of money trusting cryptocurrency with all of their heart.

I am hoping that because of Akon launching his own currency for his own city. Wow, what a visionary. Not only his own currency but his own town. Amazing. I am hoping this will start some sort of snowball effect with other Celebs around the world and maybe inspire them to create their own currencies or even to just invest in crypto. It will also bring more attention to the masses of people who do not yet know of bitcoin. "It must be good if xxxx celeb wears it" so that will work well.

Celebrities involved with cryptocurrencies the artist like Snoop Dogg, Jhony Deep, Ashton Kutcher etc so many celebrities had invested in Cryptocurrency some celebrities talked about it to Media and some do not reveal.

If you are wondering which coin does Johnny Depp supports, its with content sharing platform TaTaTu!!! Now I'm not going to ask whether you have heard of it before but certainly its not something you might be interested anyway. I was puzzled how and why little Johnny came to support the project which would likely die because its not found on any exchange

Big people keeps talking about bitcoin while very few are directly associated with the bitcoin usage. In recent days I find Akon to be one of the celebrity who has close connection with bitcoin as well as cryptocurrencies. He has created his own Akoin cryptocurrency, and now with the same he has begun to develop his own city with Akoin as the usable currency. This is quite interesting and the effort to help the people of Africa has now gained more media attention.
Now with the rising demand for bitcoin we can see more popular faces to help in the promotion of bitcoin.
That's certainly true, mate. While many famous people in the mainstream world talk about Bitcoin, only a few seem to use it. The more celebrities make use of Bitcoin, the better it'll be for the cryptocurrency's adoption within the mainstream world. People will be curious to use Bitcoin once they see someone famous is patronizing it. It's not the same when you and me (the average person) go out on the street to promote the usage of Bitcoin. With support from celebrities, we'll be able to see a higher user base in return. The Akoin cryptocurrency initiative is quite an interesting project. As far as I'm aware, it's the only crypto which is directly linked to a celebrity for mainstream use. Still though, it's not as popular as other coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum. We need more celebrities using "top of the line" cryptocurrencies for their own benefit in order to drive adoption into the Blockchain industry like never before. As long as core features are taken into consideration (such as scalability and privacy), celebrities will find Bitcoin an attractive alternative to existing Fiat. Not to mention, prices would need to stabilize across the market for celebrities to use Bitcoin as an ordinary currency. While the list of celebrities using Bitcoin is relatively small, there's still hope that it'll grow over time as scalable solutions are implemented. We already have the Lightning Network providing instant and cheap payments to the world. Maybe this will drive famous people (like Apple's Tim Cook or Microsoft's Satya Nadella) into using Bitcoin in their daily lives. Key figures in the mainstream world using the pioneer cryptocurrency, would surely impress crypto enthusiasts and average people alike. Just my thoughts

Celebrities attraction and entry into crypto will definitely boost the market. They have also firmly participated in the funding for Blockchain cyber Security Company. Their interest in the company can be taken s a major source of attraction for citizens. As people love to follow what their celebrities do.
