Yes the coaches or managers have a tendency to save their best team for semi-finals and finals of knock out competitions and of course of the premier league matches. These are the FA Cup matches taking place this evening:

Chelsea vs Liverpool (7:45 kick-off)

Reading vs Sheff Utd (8:00 kick-off)

West Brom vs Newcastle (8:00 kick-off)

Three games tonight in the FA Cup, I’m going to avoid betting on them as coaches often mix it up & rotate their squads in English domestic cups.

It will be very interesting what will Klopp do today. He mostly complained about many games (Sincerely they have a right there). Last time against Shrewsbury he plays with the second squad, but now is different, they have a much serious opponent and after Watford lost, maybe they will want to wake up his team. Chelsea here has a big chance to win.

I disagree, both Chelsea and Liverpool both want to win and will field a strong team respectively. This is a very important game for both of them. Both teams would love to win the FA Cup.

so far the player Harvey Elliott from liverpool will not play

Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and N’Golo Kanté will also not play

I see that this is not a game of great importance at the moment for these two teams and therefore they will not risk putting their best players to play. I didn't place any bets for this game

Somehow i feel like Klopp is throwing the Liverpool team under the press spotlight. Because after 2 consecutive losses with unreplied goals in both matches.
It brings criticism towards both the defenders and the attackers at the helm.

A draw/victory against chelsea would have helped, but Chelsea are deservedly into the next round.

If Liverpool bows out of the champions league to Atletico Madrid, will this facup loss come back to taunt them ?

At least Liverpool still get Premier League in the bag but it's pretty sucks though, they can win with invisible and undefeated on premier league but it's failed and now lost on FA Cup too, chance to treble are gone. Champions League is also a bit concerning. Is Minamino is not that good or just unlucky?

Even if they were not keeping an eye on the derby, it is just like you said because in the FA Cup anything can happen. It would be a dream for Rooney to win against his ex-team in his first match against them as a player-coach. Derby will be playing in front of a full house and the atmosphere will be electric as they have home advantage.

- Chelsea trash Everton 4-0 at Stamford Bridge. A sad return for ex-Chelsea manager Ancelotti who is now manager of Everton but an excellent day for Lampard.
- Manchester United beat Manchester City 2-0 and have beaten them twice in the premier league this season and three times this season in total.

@JollyGood I’m surprised that Chelsea won so easily against Everton, as I was expecting Ancelotti side to offer more resistance but they simply surrendered the match right from the start and were deservedly thrashed. Further Manchester United playing style surprised Pep who was not expecting such quality from Manutd and credit for this goes to Bruno, as it’s because of him that the entire team is reinvigorated. It’s also worth mentioning that the finishes from Martial and Mctominay were simply brilliant, and hopefully now Manchester United will end the season at the number four spot in the league.
