Starting to get hot here so I need to underclock/undervolt my 5850 to stay under its 75c target i've set.  Anyone have any experience undervolting there cards? What volts did you go to etc.

What's the stock voltage? 1.1v or so? Drop it to 1v, then test lower clocks to see where you are stable. Alternately you could just lower the clocks a bit, and it should run cooler.

how did you undervolt it? thanks

Depending on you VRM and card (ref/non ref, rev., bios limits) try msi afterburner, trixx, barelyclocked, clocktweak or simply radeon bios editor (best, but risky if you're not careful)

Signature space available for rent.
