I read a lot and most times I take to Amazon to either get inspirational books or science fictions to keep me company after work or during the weekend I use most of my time to read books.
If you want to keep up with trends and improve yourself you need to read constantly as readers are builders so I will be dropping 2 of the books I am currently reading, you can also drop yours as it can help someone
•   Make Your Bed By Admiral William H. McRaven : Little Things That Can Change Your Life...And Maybe the World
https://www.amazon.com/Make-Your-Bed-Little-Things/dp/1455570249

•   Save Him By William M. Hayes: Can he prevent the death of Jesus? you can get it from amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WQMP41B

A book everyone should read at some point is "A Brief History of Time: From the Big Bang to Black Holes" by Stephen Hawking.
Another inspiring book I recently read is "Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams" by Matthew Walker.

I didn't like the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon L. Lechter... reality is often not as simple as it is described in this book.

The name of the book I read in currently is Sin & Spirit (Demigods of San Francisco Book 4) It is a wonderful science fiction book, the characters of the book are beautifully written and I loved them very much. I read the previous three books and really I am happy with this book and this series. If you like science fiction, suspense, supernatural action, comedy, and romance, this series is recommended.

It's kinda ironic (and hilarious) that the author himself became the epitome of the title. From rich too poor Cheesy

I've been reading Nelson Demille's books recently, specifically the John Corey series. They're not going to blow your mind or anything but they're entertaining enough and the main character is quite funny. I would recommend reading Night Fall first and there's a great twist at the very end that connects two major world events that had me shook  Cheesy.

If you did't read yet George Orwell's 1984 I suggest you to do it ASAP. It illustrates perfectly the actual world and the govern surveilence. It was a fiction, but what is written there became real. And it shows why we really need Bitcoin for our privacy and freedom.

It is scary how accurate that book has become. I think it's one of the best of it's kind of the dystopian novels. It's quite amazing how many words/terms that were used in the book that have now entered the lexicon like doublethink, newspeak, Big Brother, thought crime, and then of course "Orwellian" which was inspired by his writings.

Yes indeed... Sad, but true. And another book which also describes how our reality is Vernor Vinge's True Names (1981).

I will write a quote here from the book which may raise your interest: "I think the Mailman is taking us on one at a time, starting with the weakest, drawing us in far enough to learn our True Names - and then destroying us".

Of course, in our times, the mailman is the govern, hungry for our privacy and personal data - for our True Names.

I usually read books that are more on inspirational, motivational, leadership, spiritual, personal finance and a little bit of sales.

However, the book that I'm reading right now is "Life Is Short by Jennifer Arnold, MD and Bill Klein"

It teaches me on how to deal with my life's journey, especially when bad things happen or I do something bad. It's part of life, and we have to learn from it.

Other books that I have finished reading are the following:

- God Is Greater Than Our Biggest Problems by Bro. Bo Sanchez (I feel that I need to read it again because I'm a bit heartbroken)
- Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
- Before You Quit Your Job by Robert Kiyosaki
- The Power of Starting Something Stupid by Richard Norton
- Start With Why by Simon Sinek
- How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie (unfortunately my uncle borrowed it years ago but never returned it yet)
- The Millionaire Messenger by Brendon Burchard (he's my favorite motivational speaker, and I watch his videos from time to time)
- The Motivation Manifesto by Brendon Burchard
- 25 Ways To Win With People by John Maxwell
- 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John Maxwell (unfortunately the book was not returned yet by my former colleague years ago)

The Catholic Demonologist Handbook by Kenneth G Deel
A comprehensive guidebook to understanding and solving ghost and demonic hauntings.

You never know when you need to perform an exorcism... Or, wouldn't you rather call a professional?

If you are into economy, read Mises and the Austrian economists. Lots of free books to read and download online here: https://mises.org/books-library/

From Mises Human Action is recommended.

Another one: The Causes of the Economic Crisis, and Other Essays Before and After the Great Depression

Quote
This book refutes the socialists and Keynesian, as well as anyone who believes that the printing press can provide a way out of trouble. Mises shows who was responsible for driving the world into economic calamity. It was the inevitable effects of the government's monopoly over money and banking.

yeah the books applied to specific type of living and not in general, but it is worth reading if you are a bookworm i guess since there are too many interest in each books  to learn and find.

I agree with you I also read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki I bought this book myself and I still have it I read from time to time. We'll be able to change our motions later on in this book Here's how a poor boy paved the way for his wealth We have a lot to learn from here.

It's kinda ironic (and hilarious) that the author himself became the epitome of the title. From rich too poor Cheesy

I don't know if it's ironic but I think the author wanted to change the outlook of society through this book. That is how a poor person can become rich.

That is my favorite book after all, I still remember the first lesson and it is about rich do not work for money while  poor and middle class are working for money. We cannot be rich if we are just focusing to be an employee, we should be an entrepreneur who have good management skill that can help us to become successful in the near future.

I have long since rarely read a book because for me it is not practical and very difficult to carry. with the development of technology I prefer to buy magazines or books online and just read it on the mobile device. this is easier than the book and the price can be cheaper, of course. technological developments make it more practical to be able to be used and utilized.

Yes, I love to read. But my nature is a little different. The book that I like to read, I read it again and again, even though it is memorized, whether it is a text book or a story book, like a snack. So my book repository is very short.

How sweet is the word 'friend'! Friendship is a symbol of intimacy, affection and harmony, love and affection, and a symbol of mutual bonding and emotional bonding. Cracks in friendship are painful but not uncommon; When it is noticeable. Many friends today are enemies. Dishonesty and betrayal are not desirable for a friend. But the unexpected is still happening. Why friends are only creating distances between parents, siblings, close relatives and laid-back neighbors in the conflict of mutual interest. Violence is spreading. As the ant takes the leaf of a fallen tree in danger, people also want to avoid danger, seeking some shelter. Need a good friend. Where people are suspected of being friends with blood, even if they are suspected of being friends, the book can be a real friend to people.

I love reading books by many author's books but now read God's chariots because now the virus is spreading all over the world and everyone is following the path shown by God to protect against this virus. If we pray regularly after his book we can be saved from this epidemic He alone can save us from this disease.

You are right in saying that electronic books never touch our minds just like the original books. Then the writers wouldn't write a book Everything wont to be done by electronic books. There are many authors' books that remind us of our childhood memories they're really fun.

I usually like to read books so when I finish reading one book I start reading another book Earlier I finished the book 5 to 6 but for the last three days I have been reading the book for fifty years of my politics. The story is truly remarkable and we know a lot of information about our country that I did not know before.

Cryptonomicon by Stephenson.
Enjoy that a lot. In essence many basic terms for blockchain we have today were developed decades ago within WW2. Sources do matter.

I started reading dutchman by LeRoi Jones

I haven't read this book but I've heard stories that are good I'm reading a new book nowadays from tomorrow. Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone A lot better yet can't finish it The author is J.K. Rowling He wrote more books than older ones.

Yeah this book is basically cool. I even have read However what i'm reading now's that children's storybooks are bullets. Reading these little children's storybooks from home sitting within the lockdown. many fun and laughter.

Covid 19

I don't think a book named COVID 19 has begin it's always the name of an epidemic and that we can determine about COVID 19 on the web or within the news But it isn't later in any book.

Lately, I've stopped reading regular books. I prefer to study information that can be of use to me in my professional life. For example, sales training in Los Angeles, I liked it very much. Because the information about how to sell my design ideas to skeptical clients is very relevant to me now. And you know, after reading this article I was able to apply some tips and I was able to negotiate with a skeptical client.

There are pearls of knowledge scattered in every book. So a seeker of knowledge has to read innumerable books. He will find intelligent sayings in any book. I agree with you that these books are really great I have read too and still have it Through this book the difference between rich and poor can be understood. What the rich teach their children that the poor cannot teach These lines are very funny.

I'm reading the Bible now, I want to understand why this book is the most popular in the world.

Same here. Although I know that it's the most popular in the world, and I've read a few bible verses ever now and then while studying in a Catholic school, aside from reading and hearing the gospel when I go to church. And I believe that it's about time and simply overdue for me not having enough time to read the whole Bible instead.

Does audiobooks count as “reading a book”?

I’m currently listening to “five lives of cheater”. This a LitRPG (literature role play game). Dont know about all countries, but in Russia it is very popular in last years. It is usually regular science fiction or fantasy book with elements of rpg. Main character is leveling during the plot, gains skills and equip.

I am not a book lover. I'm the kind of person that do not love to read books or articles. I just read my notes/books in college/highschool when we will be having a quiz, long quiz, and major exams. Although that's the thing, I envy others who love to read books because it is additional information. I want to read books bit I am too lazy for it.

Ryu Murakami `Line`. Recommended, by the way  Cool I remember the main hero, it was a girl and she could listen what people are saying while they are speaking on the phone.I dont think it is possible to make something similar in our days, but at least you can go for a real phone tracker like its described here https://computingforgeeks.com/how-to-track-an-iphone-from-an-android-phone/

I am not reading any book at the moment but the last i read was related to alternative medicine where we can use different herbs or plants to stay healthy.

Just finished reading The Most Dangerous Man In The World: The Inside Story On Julian Assange And WikiLeaks, written by Andrew Fowler, Cypherpunks: Freedom and the Future of the Internet, by Julian Assange and Cryptonomicon, by Neal Stephenson, which is a book with references to Cypherpunks and their mailing list, inspired from Tim May's Cyphernomicon.

While I was reading Cryptonomicon (which is a 918 pages book), I found out that the author wrote three other books related to this one, although not related to Cypherpunks anymore: Reamde (912 pg.) Fall; or, Dodge in Hell (720 pg.) and The Baroque Cycle. The Baroque Cycle contains itself three novels: Quicksilver (720 pg.), The Confusion (815 pg.) and The System of the World (912 pg.). Besides, Neal Stephenson wrote one more book with references to the Cypherpunks: Snow Crash (448 pg.).

I ordered one book of The Baroque Cycle (The Confusion), True Names by Vernor Vinge (which was inspired by Tim May's masterpiece True Nyms and Crypto Anarchy (the essay being included in a reprint of Vinge's True Names)), Snow Crash, Orwell's 1984 (which is a book which inspired all Cypherpunks' activity) and two more books written by Julian Assange: Underground (500 pg.) and When Google Met Wikileaks. If I'll get all these, I have to try to find just one last book of Assange - The Unauthorised Biography (350 pg.). And, of course, all the other Stephenson's books mentioned above. Only if I can find them in Romania. If I'll find them all, I think I'll finish reading them by Christmas of 2021. Excepting 1984, all the others can be found in English, which makes them even more difficult to read, besides their length.

I just started reading Coingecko's book on Decentralised Finance. How to Defi. I am currently about half way and I can recommend it to anyone who is interested in DeFi but doesn't yet now a lot about it.
In the book they also offer a lot of examples and guides to some of the more popular DeFi products and they link to a lot of interesting articles in the book. So for anyone who wants to dive deeper into a specific topic they can without having to go though a lot of trouble finding relevant articles.
The book itself isn't to long at 212 pages but if you calculate in all the articles they reference I would say you can about triple that figure.

While I am waiting for the ordered books, mentioned above, I just realized I have a new book to read, which rested untouched in my house for almost two years.

This book is a present from my mom and it has a funny history: she bought me this book by mistake Smiley She thought it is about Ross Ulbricht's Silk Road (the book is written in English and she doesn't know too much English lol). In fact, the book is Peter Frankopan's The Silk Roads: A New History of the world and I'm sure it is a very good reading. I added also a photo of the back cover, for the review written there. This book is also huge (521 pages), but I hope to finish reading it until I'll receive the other books I ordered.

I am reading the new book of Neil DeGrasse Tyson "Letters from an Astrophysicist". Since the beginning of the pandemic I really enjoyed reading physics book again. It's my 3rd book by Neil and he is just an awesome writer. I can recommend his books to anyone, even if you don't have much knowledge about astrophysics.

Currently I am reading Sully: My Search for What Really Matters .
It's a memoir written by Chesley B Sullenberg and Zeffrey Zaslow . It describes the event of US airways flight which was skillfully and safely landed by Capt . Sullenberg onto the Hudson river post a bird strike which rendered the plane's engine useless .

I just bought a few more books. First one is Vernor Vinge's True Names, previously advertised by me inside this topic back in January. At that time I read it in a pdf form, but I really wanted to have it also in physical form -- and I finally have it!

The hard copy of the novel contains a huge preface (about 187 pages long), which include some essays about privacy and cryptography. The most important of these essays is Tim May's True Nyms and Crypto Anarchy. This is itself a great reading but I couldn't find it anywhere on the Internet. If anyone finds it, feel free to share it. But I believe this essay was written especially for prefacing the book True Names, thus there are low chances to find it on the Internet.

Nowadays books are read in a messy way running a specific book is no longer the case as it turns out many books are left unfinished never finished. My fiction is read more Now I am reading the Bengali version of Haruki Murakami's After the Quake Fyodor Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment the dreamy Chakraborty's'Yellow Rose because of the curiosity about the physical constitution sex life and way of life of transgender people. Memoirs of my grief-stricken prostitutes and Obaid Haque's Blue Mountain 'books.

Since two days ago I started reading another book from the ones I ordered recently:

Suelette Dreyfus & Julian Assange - Underground

It is a fascinating book about the rise of Australian hackers and phreakers from 1980s, including the early activity of Julian Assange which, by that time, was known under the nym Mendax. For all Assange lovers this is a must read.

Besides , when it was launched in 1997, the book's price was 400$!!! I managed to buy it now at about 19$. Get it while you can!

currently, I am reading several books related to philosophy, of course with my country's translation...
Down Girl: The Logic of Misogyny by Kate Manne is the book I'm reading right now. I just started reading a few pages but have saluted the contents of the opening, hopefully a second edition will appear in the next few months.

This is the antepenultimate book from the order I mentioned in August: George Orwell's 1984 (translated in Romanian), a book which I already mentioned here in January 2020. I read it since 2018, but in electronic format. Now I managed to obtain also the physical form of the book. I suggest you all to read it. It is a book about state surveillance taken to the extreme, a book which inspired also the Cypherpunks' work, as its action became a reality.

I tend you reads usually two books at the time, one about business and investing and one novel I read before sleeping when I am already tired. Reading a business book right before sleeping is not such a good idea for me because I forgot too many things in the morning. The business book I am reading right now is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki , and the Novel is The Guardians by John Grisham. Both are great books I can only recommend.

This is the penultimate book from the order I mentioned in August: Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash. This is one of the two books with references to Cypherpunk's activity, the other one being also authored by Neal Stephenson: Cryptonomicon. I am really anger to read it, as not many books talk about these brilliant minds!

My last book from the order I made is Neal Stephenson's The Confusion, which is a part of the so-called Baroque Cycle. It contains three books - Quicksilver, The Confusion and he System of the World. I'll post a picture with all three books once I'll have all of them at hand. I decided to buy also Baroque Cycle, as I understood that the action is somehow related to the one from Cryptonomicon, although it doesn't refer anymore to Cypherpunks.

I am reading a book by miguel de cervantes don quixote is a middle-aged spanish gentleman who reads many romances of heroes from then on he picked up the sword and decided to become a vagabond hero he set out on a world tour with his old horse and realistic mentality. Don quixote's heroic work includes trying to fight the windmill which he mistakenly thought was a monster even fighting a flock of sheep this influential literature is often considered the first modern novel.

Yeah I totally agree with you readers are builders o discovered these long time ago and ever since then I cultivated the habit of reading books. It’s give oneself information and knowledge about the unknown and in-depth understandings. For the past few years I have read lots of books and among them that really inspired me is Goals by Brian Tracey, you should check out for that book. It’s really inspiring and goal motivating.

Currently I’m reading a book name Minders Tough by Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosarki. It’s a book I will gladly ask anyone to read and never regret the time. The parts of the book I loved so much is when Donald was describing the Four Quadrant and Robert speaking about his rich dad and poor dad. It’s fun reading such books.

I like reading different books. The topic doesn't matter if the book makes sense. Now I'm studying more about how to write a book myself, starting with writing an essay. It turned out to be more difficult than I thought. In general, when I needed to write a reaction paper, I turned to the site, the link to which I am sharing. But my favorite book is Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut. If anyone has not read it, I strongly advise.
