I forgot to mention that 10 minutes before they edited their own ann thread (which is now a blank page), i received a pm asking me to consider deleting/removing the scam accusations.
They said it was one of their developers who made a mistake, their project/website was still in beta and stuff like that. Here's the full message:
Dear morvillz7z,
This mail is both an appreciation and a polite request in light of one of your posts titled Topic: "E-buddykart - fake team members and plagiarized whitepaper!.
At the outset, we appreciate you for bringing into light the unintentional error. But now that we are correcting all the errors, we would like to register our heartfelt request to kindly delete the thread. The error was committed by one of our remote developers who was unaware of the person's identity in photo assuming it to be a demo photograph.
The website is still in its beta version and the project ideation is still in the teething stage. Further, the IEO and airdrop programs are scheduled for a later period. We hope these reasons must justify our unintentional error.
Hoping that you will comply with our request at the earliest.
Regards
EbuddyKart Team
They unintentionally photoshopped some hair onto another image and said it was their team member? As well as accidentally plagiarized another white paper? With a bungle of this magnitude I'm having second thoughts about trusting them with my BTC.
Their website is also now down.
The excuses never change.
I don't understand why these projects would rush out their website when it was still in beta version, unless it wasn't actually that way to begin with.
Good catch.
