I have a few questions regarding running a Bitcoin gambling website online.
I am located in Canada. So I'm not sure if it's legal for me run a site like this online from within Canada.
If it is legal for me to host the site else where, where is it possible for me to host it and do I need to get it licensed or it's okay to operate without a license since it's crypto.
A lot of gambling websites business encounter a lot of problems when it comes to money if you are already sure that this is the business you wanted you should make sure that it is legally operating in Canada. I don't know a lot about Canada but I think it will be a great if you are going for a Casino. It would be difficult to start a business so create your business plan, choose your location register it in your city, etc.

Perhaps, you can check the hosting provider from the old gambling site so you know where you can host your website, and you can understand if that gambling site needed a license or not. Or you can ask or find out in your country if you make a gambling site gambling, is it illegal or not. I think if you can get the hosting provider that supports gambling, you can host your gambling site to them, and the other things that you need to do are searching the license.

Crypto is not a free pass. You cannot just say to the government where you are operating that because your gambling site is using crypto it is already exempted from licenses and other legal requirements. I am not from Canada and I am not into law so I cannot give you definite specific legal advice. What I know is that there is no business that can run legally without passing through licensing processes.

Since you are from Canada this article can help you it includes Canada on the list of websites that operate gambling based on blockchain, there a line there that says All legal online gambling businesses must be registered and in compliance in at least one jurisdiction. The most common jurisdictions that online gambling businesses register in are Caribbean nations such as Antigua and Barbuda, Costa Rica, and Curaçao and European nations such as Malta and the UK. But it's better that you be guided by a legal expert to avoid compliancy.

In every country, the laws and regulation are different to each other and I do not have enough idea about the laws in Canada. If you want to create a gambling sites, you should first consult for those professional persons in terms of laws. They can give you an idea about the requirements that you should comply. The gambling sites havw stiff competition, you should have huge capital in order to attract gamblers. There are many new gambling exchanges that been closed because they cannot survive in competition in the market.

In the majority of countries, at least in the first world, there are strict regulations when it comes to starting your own online casino. As others have stated, I'd highly suggest that you don't take specific advice from people here as most to all, including me, have no experience in the legal field and even if one did, it is very unlikely to apply to your scenario since the jurisdiction could be entirely different. I expect that if you want to do this successfully you would have to definitely be moving your business offshore, if you aren't willing to obtain a license within your own jurisdiction. That process can be complicated and very troublesome. You could avoid all of this trouble by just investing in a dice site's bankroll, though that comes with its own risks.

I would prefer this way if im to say to avoid the hassle and all things for you to comply when you tend to make one overseas but well this will vary if you do pursue it and ready for the things needed. I agree that it would better for op to seek for professional legal advice near his place rather than looking for comments on here and as you say where majority arent expert when it comes to legal aspects which means it is unsure.

You could possibly have the option to build to types of gambling or online casino website, the first one is to build a centralized casino where everyone is will be free to play as long as they have the funds with them but needs a strong regulation where you need to contact government first for you to run it, or to try to build a casino where the system is completely decentralized, people isn't needed to KYC and you as well will be completely anonymous, though it is risky, because you will not be conformed to the regulation of your country if any, but the best way is to find a country there online casino is legal, then, there, you're free to create it knowing that there's no rules or law that you might break.

People get attract towards transparent system than the complicated one so be real and get facilitation for gamblers. If you really want to get money and become rich with your casino you will have to spend money at beginning.

Getting a license for creating a online gambling site is the first thing that you need to guarantee if your gambling site is legal or legitimate. You also need to know if online gambling sites are allowed in Canada for you to avoid violating the law, but if it is illegal it will be difficult for you to run a bitcoin gambling site.

I have done research since I was curious about the answers to some questions about this situation and I could not fulfill this dream due to the obstacles required due to my location and software fees. First of all, I want you to know that before you start this project, you have to learn the legal procedure by a really knowledgeable person and then hire a lawyer for all sorts of problems. Of course, things do not stay with this much, because you are the person to be contacted in all legal problems that may occur about the site, a few more precautions should be taken. After completing all these legal steps, unfortunately, you have to open the pocket of the purse to the end, because this kind of service software is very expensive. In order to save on these software, you do not have the chance to choose the cheapest one because these software work flawlessly. Who would use a new gambling service that has a legal obligation, software problems and especially a new gambling service? You are talking about a project that is problematic with every step but can cause you to earn very serious income. I hope everything will be as you want and without any problems.

When it comes to trying to create a new casino you are basically facing 4 different problems, the first is the license, where are you going to get the license to run a casino, the second issue is the money, you need a lot of money to start a casino, you need to pay for the license, the website, the servers and the bankroll, the third issue is how to secure the funds of your players since hackers will try to steal the money from the casino and finally you are trying to enter in an established industry that is already saturated with casinos and many do not get enough clients to sustain their operations.

You need to register your business. You are making profits here so you need to be legalized even you are operating in crypto. But if you are brave enough to avoid the regulations, then risks it since you are just a small site for now. But when you noticed that there is an increase in players, you need to make things legally. Second, it's not just about legality but you must also provide your bankroll details via showing your signed address with funds. I agree. There are people who are running online gambling in restricted countries. They have found ways to pursue it but if you want legality, then try to get a license first and you'll only find out if gambling is restricted in your country or not.

If I amn't wrong, gambling laws are a little bit different in Canada Provinces. You can use some Canadian gambling review websites to have an imaginary about what's happening in your country. It's not that easy task. Firstly, casino requires a lot of money, professional IT team behind it, customer supports, partners and etc, this requires time, knowledge and a lot of money. Crypto gambling websites are mostly launched in Curacao, seems this is the best place for them to operate from and there is a reason why every popular casino operates from Curacao. Do you even know laws of crypto in Canada? As mocacinno said, better to talk experienced persons in this subject, it's not an online solvable task.

If you do not want to run into a problem along the way, you should get a license, it's for your peace of mind whether there is a possibility that you can run one without it, it's still better to have one than none because it will favor you because you will have a peace of mind and your clients will have too, because you are doing things according to the law.

There are countries that will host a gambling site even if they do not have a license provided that you have an office over the server are on that region, I am not very familiar about setting up a gambling site but it only pays to get a lawyer, a lawyer can give you a sound advice and it will take care and explain all the problems that will come and how you can deal with it.
