It may not affect the price directly but it can help in promoting bitcoin. It is obvious that a single website accepting a stable coin is not going to change anything but the cumulative effect of this happening all over the world will, we need more positive news like this, most people concentrate on what the price is going to do and they only care about the speculative aspect of bitcoin but we need to also care about the adoption issue, one thing that many people do not seem to notice is that porn sites are always trying new payment technologies since many platforms refuse to accept their business for moral reasons and cryptocurrencies can be a great way to accept payments in the future.

They have also listed some other coins as wel as far as I remember, they had verge as well for premium. They also had some sort of crypto agreement on their casino as well which is a less known part of pornhub I suppose. They have always been progressive when it comes to crypto, wouldn't expect anything less from a porn video company who normally seen as progressive business idea anyway.

Being able to shoot a porn video and get it published on pornhub is very tough and people don't know how hard it is, there was Reddit ama about how a person talked about they made literally zero until one day they got accepted and started making money and it was very little until they got bigger fame. So you literally share your own porn for nothing until you get famous which is what not many people would agree on. With crypto it would be quicker for people to get paid as well, quicker money making even on first video would encourage more content creators to join in too.

sometimes if we see projects that partner with industries that already have big names then they can grow better, and I'm sure big industries will not be easy to accept their partners because if the project cannot grow well then the industry will become bad too because it is already related .

Yes, in 2017 I heard they had a partnership with XVG. And they also accepted XVG in their payment, but since then the XVG project has collapsed and seems to have stopped working. Perhaps this news will not affect too much this market, no one really cares like 2017. I hope in 2020 there will be more websites that will accept USDT and other altcoins in payments like Porhub. It will help this market become more popular and get more new investors

Pornhub just try its chance by adding more and more crypto as payment. Remember about this is the best alternative way to the native payment solution like paypal. As far as I know, Pornhub accepts some cryptocurrencies as the payment, such as Verge, Tron and Zencash. I don't know why they are adding the option for Bitcoin and Ethereum. But this acceptance from Pornhub came only after PayPal refused to process their payments (in November 2019). So they had to look out for the other service providers and cryptocurrency was selected as one of the options. I am not sure whether they have started accepting BTC. But if that is not the case, then adding USDT is illogical.
