I have no idea why it took any time for anyone to make a list of the most popular cryptocurrencies because just look at coinmarketcap, you'll see a list of all of cryptocurrencies (currently more than 5k) and they are almost ranked by popularity. Just compare coinmarketcap's list to OP's list, first 7 coin are the same and on another ones, only places are changed a little bit.
Asset Popularity is good but not very accurate statistics because for example everyone got Bitcoin Cash after bitcoin's fork and this means a lot of people own bitcoin cash just because of bitcoin's popularity and we can't say from that statistics that BCH is popular itself.

Without any doubt Bitcoin is most popular crypto currency but if some one want to invest then we have few other choices as well because currently few altcoins also doing very good job like Ethereum Litecoin BNB TRX and Ripple these are hot coins which are going with good volume and can give some good profit in both ways like if someone going with short term or long term I already done many trades and have some good profit just because of violating happening on daily basis.

Bitcoin is that the hottest cryptocurrency for investors I accept as true with you  it's a really popular currency and reliable. But I prefer investing in Ethereum the foremost  there's no capital to take a position in Bitcoin but I can hopefully get BTC upfront.

I would also continue to invest in Bitcoin as well.

Despite the dominance of it going down in time now, the price is still something that you could look up to since it is still changing and giving good profits for its investors. Ethereum is also a good one since it is a platform of a lot of other cryptocurrencies so it can give a good profit in the future.

Of course, because both of them are like a parent for each coin, both have a very strong community so that the prices of both are always high on each Exchange. But we are not wrong if we choose other Crypto like BNB or LTC, both are also very good if we make it as an investment.

I am sure until whenever investors always choose bitcoin to be the first choice, because it is undefeated for more or less 11 years.
And the following will be followed by ethereum as the second most popular crypocurrency choice after bitcoin wonder ethereum
earned the nickname king of altcoin. Almost all investor portpolios must have bitcoin and ethereum, because both these coins are
the most popular cryptocurrency.

I think it's a stupid question, it's clear that bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency and cannot be compared to other cryptocurrency. As many speculations people say that all crypto prices depend on the ups and downs of the price of bitcoin, this concludes that bitcoin is the heart of other crypto. It is certain that bitcoin is very suitable to be invested and held in the long run.
I understand that, He didn't asking in the specific 1 coin which BTC or like that. Bitcoin is the top ranking coin why not this is a popular coin i asked you, Indeed, no way to comparison with Btc and another cryptocurrencies. BTC level is too high still and in the future. Eth,XRP,BNB are second place in investment this my personal thought .

As true as it seems but there are certain crypto-currencies that are more popular among investors while there are some that are more traded but less popular among investors. The most popular coin has to be bitcoin for any investor because it's like the daddy coin of them all but if we leave apart bitcoin, I guess the most popular crpyto for investing right now has to be EOS given the rise EOS has seen in such a small period of time and I believe it's one of the hottest crypto to invest right now for investors and that is the reason why its market cap is getting bigger and its climbing charts at coinmarketcap

By the way, if you ask my opinion, I would still invest in bitcoins rather than anything else in crypto world.

The chart is clear that bitcoin is becoming very popular, so it is easy for new investors to determine their choice to invest now, if they look at the charts there, the most popular crypto promises better returns. The list will not change much for a number of periods because the large capitalization will allow them to last for a long time because of the popularity factor that will keep them at the top of the list.
Not quite surprising at all. We've known bitcoin making a loud sound on different places, so no wonder why there is much people are hooking with it now especially this year that an anticipated bitcoin halving will occur on May. Bitcoin dominance is up to 60% and continue to get higher every month, which says that bitcoin is generally invested. Investors these days do not look for high capitalization or any as long as it is showing a good run in the chart and possible in makinh profit. So undoubtedly bitcoin now is the most invested cryprocurrency, with its possessed popularity guess nothing in the market will go above it.

BUT if we are talking aside from bitcoin, surely it is the ethereum just noticed how transactions are made in ethereum blockchain plus the doubled user gain of some ethereum related applictions.

Already everyone knows about Bitcoin. It’s only altcoins that are not much popular because when you mention the word cryptocurrency people usually say it’s bitcoin. The next cryptocurrency that is quite popular but not as Bitcoin, is Ethereum. Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency and it is also known by a lot of people and I have seen a few online stores where it’s being accepted as payment, but to a level where it can be compared to Bitcoin.

When it comes to trading it is the next big coin, apart from it we have USDT which is another coin that a lot of people trade with. Next is Monero, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple and Neo. Chain Link has been another coin that is gaining popularity among traders as of recent, because of the increase in price.
That is right because I remember when within friends we talk about cryptocurrency we only talk about bitcoins and altcoins though have made a big steps towards success I don't think they have still find their place in the market. Problem with ethereum is that it's seen more a platform to develop coins and ICOs rather than a payment method and now that most of the ICOs bubble is busted, there seems no real power in ethereum although it still is among the best ones out there.

I don't think investors use USDT much because of the stable price it offers and hence not much profits but yes a lot of holders in crypto use USDT to manage their stability.

I believe that each investor in his own way determines the benefit of investing his money in a particular cryptocurrency and each one selects coins for investment in his own way.  To date, I have not a single bitcoin left, because I decided to invest it in other cryptocurrencies, including ethereum.  But besides this coin, I also chose the Glitzcoin coin, which is on the stellar blockchain, as well as Jur and Pundi X, on the erc20 blockchain.  I believe that this is one of my main investments.
