@tyKiwanuka

I'm betting on BF from more than 12 years.

Currently, mostly through my own bots.

Does these white label sites support some APIs like BDP Stream API?

Could you send me some URLs to check them? As I'm working on crypto reviews right now and this is an interesting option/alternative.

Thank you
Kire

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Hi there Smiley No, as far as I am aware these exchanges have no public API at all. I used to do everything with GeeksToy at Betfair and I am dearly missing this option with the WLE's.

could anyone point me to an URL where I can see the allowed countries for betfair right now? I searched and even talked to betfair but they did not provide the info. Betfair says changes for allowed countries are quite often so I would need to try to register to find out if my country is accepted. This was not a satisfying answer as I maybe would move to an allowed country.

cheers

There isn't that one list unfortunately and the response from Betfair is kind of reasonable. Just last year Betfair closed all their agent accounts and they don't do that for fun; there is always something going on regarding certain countries, new regulations and the risk Betfair is willing to take, to not lose more customers. And you have to be careful, if you read somewhere that country XY is allowed at Betfair, because there is a difference between the Betfair Sportsbook and the Exchange. You can use the sportsbook in a lot of countries, but both sportsbook & exchange in not that many (thats why WLE's have some success Wink ). In the end I think you will only be safe longterm, if you move to UK/Ireland. UK is better than Ireland then again because of Brexit.

You can also check out ACC-EX. The last time I talked to them, they had 1,000 Euro minimum deposit, 50,- quarterly membership fee and 6% transfer fees (a lot).

BTW did you notice the 'new' BF promo? Where you can choose to NOT get 'bonuses' in exchange to only 2% fee?

Check these:

https://www.betfair.com/aboutUs/Regulatory.Information/

https://www.cheekypunter.com/faq/betfair-country-restrictions/

and keep in mind that the restriction list is not full. For example, the United States is missing in the list but it's blocked.

Yes, could be, not for me though Wink But you have to go via an agent anyway to open an account and most of them accept all customers (some restrict US customers). If the WLE's would restrict the same countries as Betfair does, then it would make no sense to have them. Thats the whole point of these WLE imo and why they are allowed to use "powered by Betfair". Betfair is too regulated to accept these customers, but with this little trick, lots of players can come back through the back door and keep the markets liquid and guarantee volume. It's the same for Pinnacle, SBO etc. The legal risk is passed on to the agents and Betfair & Co can just say and prove, that they don't accept customers from certain countries.

You would have to use VPN then to access Orbit.

No, I am rarely following their news nowadays Tongue

@tyKiwanuka

Ireland/England is not for me as I love to be in the Sun Smiley
I need a sunny country

I checked out ACC-EX (thx for the link)
I agree with you saying all those fees are a lot and I did not like their answer in their FAQs
Q) Account-exchange is a new service – how can I trust you?
A) It is you that needs the accounts provided via our services. If you do not feel confident with us, please feel free to look for a similar service elsewhere.

@kire - cryptzino

thank you for the links

sadly there is not a list of allowed countries for their exchange at least not one in full as you mentioned also

regarding USA I thought the exchange is allowed in Nevada and New Jersey

They are around already pretty long. A risk remains of course, but one can try, with small stakes first (1000,- is not small stakes for some players of course), imo. You will never have 100% guarantee in this business and if the opportunity outweighs the risk, it's worth it imo. Their business is a bit strange, but they look legit to me and were always very responsive, when I talked to them.

I feel you Grin But you just need any kind of residence there and can spend a good amount of your time in a more sunny location then, while grinding the markets Wink

I can't switch as much as I want.
I don't have that luxury as I'm using my own bots to automate 99% of my trading in BF.

If you see someday a WLE with API, ping me Smiley (If I didn't spot it first)
