Whoa, Ethereum breaks the $200 barrier

The eth breaks $200 and the BTC breaks $10000. So, I think it's common to see this situation. When BTC price is rise, most of altcoins will follow it. I hope the ETH price will break $300 soon.

And it already reached 230 dollar levels, it literally made over 10% over 200 dollars right now and it keeps going up as well. I feel like maybe this increase could be attributed towards the hard fork but it is said that even on the best of terms the expected proof of stake update is literally expected about 2021 and not this year. Muir Glacer put forward the next one towards over 4 million blocks and that will be in a few years, which means there will be the ETH 2.0 with proof of stake before the difficulty bomb happens.

If they reach the proof of stake first in 2021 and in 2022 they do the difficulty bomb, then they will add in a quicker transactions and cheaper ones very fast which will not create a problem with the proof of stake slowness that everyone keeps talking about. So in general, this increase may have come a bit quicker than expected.

in my opinion it is the latest signal given by ETH for the start of the bull run in the new year 2020. maybe all investors have returned to see ETH after many reports explaining their newest system, POS. This increase in transactions has become a key factor in rising ETH prices at the beginning of 2020.

I didn't think when Ethereum hits 350 USD then again it can dump to 120 USD. This week Ethereum hits top price 230 USD. When Ethereum did a bullrun, Bitcoin was in sleep. This makes sense us to altcoins season, if Ethereum publish 2.0 news, bullrun could start of altcoins. This year is for break the top price of top coin.

I think $230 will be the next key resistance level. If we reach and broke this price and sustain it, then we might be heading for $250. But if didn't hold, obviously we might see some corrections but I don't see it dumping to $120.

There will be support at $200 levels here, cryptocurrency market today is at the bullish phase, we might see some healthy corrections, and then it will be pump again. I would agree if we're in the bearish sentiments that we might see some huge dump, but at this point, investors are very positive of the market now.

That key resistance is already broken, $230 - $250 so I think next will be the eventual $300. If bitcoins goes for $11k this month, I have no doubt that $300 will be breach by Ethereum.

And the timing itself, just a couple of months prior to the halving that might have a significant effect, barring all negativity, I have a feeling that $300 is doable at the end of the month.

Yeah, I was surprised how quickly that resistance level was broken, I have only seen this kind of breach during a bull run, slicing resistance like a it's just a butter. So it was really quite amusing to see that and it seems that investors confident on Ethereum is really back, even the delay of ETH 2.0, the price is not affected and on the contrary doing very well.

Probably $300 as well will be easily breach, just a matter of time. I don't want to get excited here, but I have a feeling that if we ever break $300, Ethereum might go for higher highs before the eventual bull run this run, so possible that if this happens, 4 digit again is possible at the end of the year.

$500 is far away from here, I doubt in that. I will close my longs it hits $300, I believe it will come to that mark before we see a correction. I bought a couple Ethereum's at $100, x3 is a nice profit, I thought it will come sooner, but after some time here it is. I also believe in correction, I expect Ethereum to drop back under $200, it will be an awesome opportunity for buying and multiplying my Ethereum stack.

I agree that you can close your long when it hits $300, and it's good that if you have bought them at $100 x3 is not that bad. I still have my long open though, not going to sell at least @$500.

I don't see it dropping back under $200, maybe that is like 20%-30% pullback and it unlikely to happen unless bitcoin as well goes on the downward spiral which is doubtful, just saying.
